Gaps in Stay on Tier 1

Senior Members,

I have a query, I hold a Tier 1 visa which expires in March 2013 and was previously working in UK until 31st July 2011 and left the country immediately due to personal reasons.

I now wish to re enter UK in January 2012 and will be looking for a new job.

My query is as follows;

a) Can I apply for extension to my Tier 1 visa in March 2013 if I am able to show 12 months of employment in the U.K. from January 2012 till March 2013

b) When I apply for a Tier 1 extension in March 2013, on what points system will I be evaluated? Will it based on points system that existed before 6th April 2010 (75 points)?

c) Would I receive a 3 year extension or a 2 year extension in March 2013?

d) My wife will also accompany me when I re enter in Jan 2012 depending upon her visa grant. When she applies for her extension in 2013 along with me, does show also need to show 12 months of salary slip?

e) Also, to be eligible for ILR, will my time start when I re enter in 2012 or from 2008?

I switched to a Tier 1 visa (from previously held HSMP) which was granted in March 2010 and looking to apply for another Tier 1 extension in 2013

I hold a Tier 1 Visa (General) which is valid until March 2013. I am currently working in India and looking to move back to U.K. in the coming months with my wife.
 
Prior to July 2011, I was in the U.K. for 3 years employed with a Bank.
 
I will be applying for a dependent visa for my wife while I am in India in December 2011.
 
I have 5 technical clarifications to make before my wife progresses with applying for a dependent visa;
 
a)      I understand that the requirement for maintenance of funds for the dependent is £1600 for 3 months. But for the main applicant, how much is the minimum maintenance of funds required? Is it £2800 for three months?
b)      Since I am currently in India, can I apply for the Tier 1 (general) dependent visa from India?
c)       Can I as the main applicant show maintenance of funds in Indian bank account since I have been working in India since the past three months?
d)      Can I show “multiple fixed / term deposit statements from different accountsâ€
