Garden Leave effects on Tier 2 Change of employer

Hi,

I have been put on 3 months garden leave by my current employer to allow me time to look for a new sponsor. The current employer is closing business in UK. I have consulted immigration lawyers and said the garden leave will not affect my current Tier 2 General visa but I can only apply for a new (change of employer) after end of these leave. However my current employer is willing to let me go anytime before the end of my garden leave if i do find a new sponsor.
Am busy looking for work and new sponsor now and hopefully to find one before then. Will it be a problem to apply for a new Tier 2 visa if I find an employer/sponsor before the end of my garden leave?
