T1 General Form. Help on a few D questions.

Post by happyguy82 » Sun Feb 27, 2011 12:06 am

Hi all,

I've been reading the form and I'm a bit confused with the following sections:

D3. What date was the entry clearance or visa issued? dd/mm/yyyy

D4. Please enter the reference number on the entry clearance or visa which can be found in the applicant’s passport or travel document.

D11. What is the applicant’s current immigration status in the United Kingdom?

Do Questions D3 and D4 pertain the the current visa that's valid or the very first visa that allowed the applicant to enter the UK to work?

I'm currently holding T1-General. What should I fill in for D11? I know this sounds silly but I'm really unsure. should I just write 'Tier 1 General holder'?

Thx.

D3 refers to the entry clearance that you were issued from outside the UK.
D4 is the number in red on the top right hand side of the entry clearance sticker.
D 11 yes put tier 1 general migrant.

Thanks Greenie.

I was first issued a working holidaymaker visa outside the UK and then my Tier-1 General was also issued outside the UK. So should this be the WHM or Tier-1 General?

Thanks.

The question isn't very clear on the form.

Put the most recent entry clearance but include your passport containing the WHM entry clearance with the application also (you could also put a note next to your answer explaining you also had an entry clearance for WHM visa)

Thank you Greenie :)

Yes I agree the question isn't very clear and it isn't covered in the explanation at the bottom of the form.

Yes both of my Tier-1 General and WHM visas are in the same passport which will be sent together with the application.

Cheers.
