100% true but you never know with the HO

I am waiting like crazy person checking post everyday. I called Asylum hotline HO number and lady said that it is true that decision is made but she cant tell me the decision and i have to wait for it to send through. She didn’t even give me any time scale..
Hey can you send me the number. I tried some numbers but could speak with anyone.

Hi everyone. Hope all is well with you. Can someone give me an idea how substantive interview goes? I applied for asylum November 2018, I had my screening December 2018 and I received a letter yesterday that I will have my interview on August 1st 2019 at Birmingham enclosed with biometric letter that will be done on the same day. Advise and answers are greatly appreciated.

It will be very detail interview regarding ur claim.
Be prepare and clear about each and every aspect bcz all questions are linked with each other.Also they ask same question again and again with slighty different ways and then compare ur answers.Be confident .
Also ask u about ur background,family,immigration.
Any proofs of ur claim.if u have any bring that with u and give them if they ask u.

Gud luck

Thank you for this! I am surprised that my substantive interview is quite soon. Is it normal that they will ask for biometric? I had a very complicated case as I got married with British I left him due to domestic violence. And my spouse visa was curtailed I was detained as well. It’s a ashamed that when I left my husband I was still waiting for my spouse visa to be granted as I entered here as a fiancé. Whilst my spouse visa is on process with HO I left him without thinking of the visa as I was being abused.

Too late now, I won’t be going back with him. I’ll have my substantive interview on August 1st. They asked for my biometric, and passport photo.

@moore100

It's my partner, she's the main applicant

I don't know why they have invited just her for another interview as the letter states and train tickets attached to attend the interview in Cardiff

The 1st main interview which was also done in Cardiff - my daughter and wife were invited based on our claims

Tbh ..I don't understand. ..fingers crossed

We both have rights to work though ....as for yours ..just relax you will get a letter soon allowing you to work as it usually takes some time for HO to revert
