It's been 9 months now every time I call they tell you same which is "WAIT UKBA until they call you" I can't see no one is calling me!!!!!!!! What's going on there can you please share experience.

what is your immigration status at the time when you were applied in last year, I think this seems to me that it`s a problem for the biometric enrolment because since 29th Feb 2012 anyone wish to applying travel document should have biometrics residents permit, I think this information will be helpful for you.
best wishes

I did not heard about this before if someone has already ILR how can they applying again for ILR rather then naturalisation your case is very complicated because if you have already ILR then you don`t need to biometrics Residents permit why you did not apply for naturalisation as a ILR holder for 5 year. What is your base of immigration, I don`t know if the home office change his policy for ILR holder?

I am 100% sure it is the same as refugee one because you still need protection however in the approval letter is not mansion refugee status but the base of application is protection secondly my solicitor advised you don`t allow to your home country even if you were granted ILR. I think mirna will answer this question as same as soon.

All,
Just a had a chat to my mate. He is saying that if original of Biometric Residence Card is sent together with the form, Home Office take quicker to issue the TD (replacement after ILR granted). One of the guys called them after 6 months waiting and they said that they will only start looking at the form after 4-6 months if the copy of the card was sent.
I think this is very unfair!
I sent the copy as the Card is my ONLY proof of ID. So I suppose I will be waiting until Xmas this year, or maybe longer.
Not happy!
Alex

Longwait123,

You're not the only one. I have been waiting for 8 and 1/2 months. Is it your first TD?

Basically, if you are not a highly skilled migrant, you will have to attend the course and take the test even if you have a higher degree than B1.

This is quite restricting if you are working full time and you need to travel a lot as part of your work.
