Anyone know how home office send the travel document once approved. Is it through the Post Office or DX couriers and if they email you once the application is approved and let you know its on the way. I applied online in February and never received an acknowledgement letter.

I called them today and they said sometimes they don’t send acknowledgment letter and you’d have to sign for it about sending a text I don’t know. You can call them to find out, however they told me my 70 working day is due 29th of April and applied 11th January lol

Please someone tell me what Acknowledgement Letter " is.
All I received after my online application was "Biometric Enrollment" letter.
Am I the only one receiving a letter like this prompting me to go to a post office and give my fingerprints again????
The letter didn't read anything about my travel document application at all. Only that 'thank you for your application'
Can anyone email a copy/pic of their acknowledgement letter to me??

Hello guys,

I have been super stressed with all these applications I have been making back and forth and finally I have a timeline I can post up. after a massive chicken up with my BRP. I finally made my application for a COT travel document and here it is my timeline.
Application for COT - 22/03/2019
Application received by HO - 25/03/2019
Letter from HO requesting better PP pics received - 02/04/2019 (letter was dated 29/03/2019)
New PP pictures countersigned sent back to HO- 02/04/2019
PP received by HO - 03/04/2019.
Email received from HO - 11/04/2019 stating that my application processing was finalised on the 09/04/2019 and I should receive my document in the next 7-10 working days.
Received original documents sent to HO -12/04/2019
Travel Document- Waiting.

so from the 22/03/2019- 09/04/2019

All in all without the request for PP pictures we may have had the document earlier.

Good luck to everyone with all your applications.

Hey,
I did have an emergency and made an expedition request. however I did not get a response to it so I was bracing myself for a long wait. many prayers and sleepless nights and alhamdullilah they came through for me. also because they messed up big time with my BRP shortened the time I had to apply for a COT, so maybe someone in there had mercy on me.

Hey, Congratulations! :D
I have been watching this forum and I have seen how long you have waited, I also received mine on Saturday after Calling DX on the 18th to enquire if they had received anything. Apparently there was a delivery attempt on the 11th of April that somehow missed my house as I was home all day. If I had never called I would have never known! no calling cards were left, no emails and no texts from DX. All in all I am just glad its in my possession finally! Read DX reviews and it seems this is a regular occurrence! Anyway rant over.
Congrats again and for everyone else waiting, good luck.

DX never text or emailed me. they claimed to have attempted a delivery on the 11th but I was home all day. they never left a calling card either. I called them and had to rearrange a redelivery. so keep an eye out, once HO have confirmed they have finalised your application. Good luck. :)
