The fee for CTD is £72 and I advice you to read TD application guide.

QUESTION PLEASE:

Does the professional person who signs your application really needs to stamp the application?

I had my application signed by a practising doctor and he included his GMC registration number and therefore his details can be found online.

But again there was no stamp.

Is this going to be a problem?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Noam
No I am still waiting for it and I phoned Wednesday they said it takes 70 working days.
The last person received here on Friday, he applied 8 of June.
I totally hate sending application and wait for it in this country.

Dear All,

I have few questions, can any of you please help me answer?

1. I have sent the application for TD on 2nd Sep through recorded post and it was received by the HO on 4th of Sep. How long will it take for them to process the documents and issue TD?

2. I have included original documents such as BRP, passport and letters from HO with the form, will they return the documents at the same time with TD or before? If before then whats the timeframe?

3. Is it possible to apply for jobs on the basis of copies of BRP and HO letter? Because the original ones are gone to the HO, because I understood from the forum here that they do not send acknowledgement letters anymore.

I am looking forward to your kind response in this regards and I specially would like to know what is the timeframe for the issuance of TD?

I understand from previous applications that everyone here has been posting that they were made during summer break hence taking long to issue. Will there timing to process application and issues TD improve now?

Best Wishes

Naj

Still no news
98% of applications will be decided within 70 working days. So hopefully, we will get it next two weeks

Yes you do need a visa to Turkey. And you need to apply well in advance.

To Egypt you do need a visa as well but I heard that Egypt do not accept travel documents. But you should double check. Do ring the Egyptian embassy and ask.

Hi All,

I have made MN1 application (Naturalization) for my daughter early August. As per all users experience, i don't think I will get it in 3 months.
I have planned to travel to India with her next month and coming back within a month. She is holding Indian passport without any UK visa Hence it wont be a problem travel to India but difficult to come back.

Do I have any other option to take her back to UK on alternative route?
Can I apply for her travel document to come back to UK??
I am currently on ILR.

All Gurus please advice any other option.

Thank you all

Hello Everyone!!

I have literally started my Travel document journey!

I shall give you a little bit of background information and I hope you can all fully me and get involved in my journey.

I sent my application for a Convention Travel document yesterday this is my first one as an adult as I previously had one at 8 years old which expired years ago. I was born in the UK but my mum wasn't she had leave to remain at my time of birth and got indefinite leave to remain when I was 2.

I was very silly in previous years and I have a criminal record which it was I am very worried about with regards to this application and believe it may be possibly declined!

My biggest wish is to simply take my little girl to disneyland!! So fingers crossed let the journey begin!

Applicant Sent to HO: 13/10/15

Application Signed for: 14/10/15

Fees Deducted:

Letter for Biometrics:

BioMetrics Completed:

Travel Document Received!!!:

Would love to knw the average timelines for other people and has anyone really recently sent a travel document??

Thanks SS x
