Hi Doodoo,

Very glad to hear you've got ur docs, congradts!!! I was checking thread especially for you.

I also applied to renew my TD but no news yet. nowdays it seems there is a problem with issuing TDs. I don't now anything about discretion time and doubt if it will be issued earlier than the normal timeframe can take us to get through naturalisation process. I was hoping to get TD within 2 months max (thats how long it took me to get it last time).
Anyway still haven't lost my hope, maybe beacuse we have our BRPs already Decision will be made earlier. 1,5 month past since I applied, lets see what happens.

Hi tab0287,

Thank you .

I don't know what to do to be honest regarding the travel document. I need to visit somefamily in Europe as matter of emergency but what can I do !

Anyway, I am thinking to speak to solicitor first and ask him what he suggests.

Hi all,
Thank you very much and I wish all the best for you.
My advice to you all to write complain to the complaint section and they may direct you to onather and fallow that direction.
enk, as you've been 8 month waiting, write a complain to the complaint section and they will replay to you standard litter, however, they will say that if you are not happy with this response write to some one (I think his name is David) write to him and he will help you.
Regards

please help

Post by doodoo2012 » Mon Mar 18, 2013 4:17 pm

now I am considering wasting £72 on something might turn up, I have the following questions if anyone can help would be great,

1. I only received BRP card and my old refugee expired travel document. I have no other forms of identification for myself other than bills and driving license.

Is it enough to send the old refugee travel document and BRP card (copy as they say BRP copy is enough)? I have no other documents

2. On my BRP card says settlement and does not mention I am refugee, which travel document do I apply for ? my expired one is a refugee convention blue one and that is the only proof that I am refugee. Am I still considered refugee ?

Dear
the colour copy of BRP work if you attach the expire travel documents ,be sure to complete the section 9 in td112 BRP form ,and the Photo need to be signed.
if your brp issued on base of protection route ,you can apply for blue travel document.

Dear Alex, thank you for your quick response .

Does the brp need to be colour photocopied ?

How do I know on what basis my brp issued ? It only says settlement and indefinite leave to remain .

So according to you I need to send,
1. Coloured copy of brp.
2. The old travel document.
3. Signed photos of me.

Is this right ? Is there a number we can call them and ask ? Or who is the best to seek advice from?

Can someone tell me please, I need to apply Refugee traval documents in the uk. I was granted refugees status last year, now I want to apply for convention traval documents. I downloaded the application form and in one of the paragraph it says if you have Any CCJ against you. Previously I had some unpaid debts which I didn't know what to do as I was in financial crises and was not allowed to work for five years so ending up with small amount of debts that might have led me to ccj.

Now my question is does ccj for unpaid debts effects obtaining traval documents? I am very worried what would happen if apply for the teaval documents.

Thanks for your time

Mr $uperman

nothing to date. @babe I think you did the right thing. keep your originals and send copies. i do not understand why they keep the originals all this time. there should be a system where they check your docs and return them all since they started using BRP. it will take them a while to figure that out.

Hi all,
Today is 2 months after I have submitted my application for TD renewal once I have had my ILR.
They will take time I have been told due to the fact that nearly all of them have been sent to deal with ILRs after Olympics.
Fingers crossed!
Alex
