Hi everyone, just wondering how long does it normally takes for the Home Office to make a decision on further submissions. I submitted my fresh evidence on the 12 May 2017. Claimed asylum in April 2007, refused in 2010. I have a 3 years old British child. So my fresh evidence is based on me being the main carer of the child. I'm no longer with the father. My solicitor send couple of letters to try and find out why they're taking so long to make a decision. The next step she's about to take is to make a complaint to the home office. I'm just wondering what is going on seriously. Many thanks

Hi Namshua,
We submitted an application for FLR(FP) on the 20th March 2018. We are a family of three and we have applied for our visa through my daughter. All three of us have submitted our biometrics and only my daughters home office fees have gone through not mine and my wife's, but we have all paid for our NHS fees. My daughter have sent handwritten letters to the home office through our solicitor requesting for any updates due to her desperate need of this visa as she will be applying for univeristy this year which she will be asked to submit visa status on her UCAS application and our solicitor has also sent many emails requesting for updates and asking why they are taking extremely long to send a decision. Would you be able to let me know how long this decision making will probably take, please? Many thanks!

hi hina

its not necessary to get right to rent , if your landlord have any concern , then he can ask to home office but you dont need yourself, I am still waiting for decision its 18 months now and long wait.

Nass gave me house in Manchester and my wife was pregnant , she cant travel that time and my child is going to school in that area and its exceptional circumstance, so Nass provide me house in same area and we are on s95 support,
