Long application time

I applied to renew my 2& a half year leave to remain in the country since January 2017 and till date no re ply from them till date. my lawyer said they said they have not yet completed the application. This was surpose to take only 8 weeks by law.
It so fustrating because I'm disable and nee to go on holiday.

There are many types of leave to remain, ie flr FP, flr m, flr HO, pbs route, etc.

What visa route specifically are you on?

What is your full UK immigration history?

Has your lawyer actually submitted the application and have you enrolled your biometrics??

I have had my biometric done twicesince 2017 and they asked me not to pay for the second one they asked me to do which I don't know why nor why they requested me to do it the second time free of charge but my lawyer said maybe a mistake had happen in there side that's why they ask me to go and have it done the second time free of charge
