Naturalisation question

Post by gbsact » Thu Jul 01, 2004 5:33 pm

Hi,

I got a query of naturalisation. I have see the requirement of naturalisation for foreign nationals

"To meet these residence requirements, you must not be absent from the United Kingdom for more than 450 days over the 5-year period, or for more than 270 days over the 3-year period. In each case, you must not be absent for more than 90 days in the last year of the period."

Is this means that we should not be outside the country for continous 450/270 days or even in breaks (say if i am going for holidays regularly - No employer will give frequent holidays anyway :-))

regards
