Hi Everyone

Can someone tell me about the uploading documents for super priority appointment set(o) dependent.

Does the uploads has to be B & W. As I have uploaded color scans. I scanned them with 150 dpi with high compression so files are relatively small in size.

Also have only council bill/water bill/ poll cards for last 3 years as cohabitation proof
I gave her bank statements for last 3 months on finance category

On Mandatory docs I am giving her current PP and Consent paper : part 1 signed by the applicant and part 2 by me as husband. Didn't use the part 3 bit as financial sponsor is not necessary for ILR.

Previous PP's are also scanned with visa & stamp pages on travel section.

Any advice or suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks. :D

Anyone heard anything yet from HO? Especially applying through private route?
Was it an extension or first time?

It’s been 2 months and 2 days and I have still yet to receive any information from HO. I was told I wld get a decision between 6-8 weeks but it’s past that now. Any body facing the same thing?
Did you make your application online? If so, did you download the PDF of your completed form once it was submitted? At the very bottom of the form the Home Office wrote that the processing time takes 8 weeks and I did FLR FP Private Life. Not everyone's application takes 1 year don't worry and don't panic.
I made an extension through same route and got the message at the bottom of the doc checklist pdf from HO office saying i will receive a decision within 8 weeks and they would contact me if it would take longer. Am on the 7th week now. Wondering if anyone got a response within 8 weeks?

I got a letter from the home office that I should attend the asylum intake unit at the home office in person. Has anyone gotten this same letter and how did it go when you attended?

Applied through a solicitor using Super Priority Service for leave to remain using SET(O) / BPILR. Attended the appointment in UKVCAS in Croydon on a Saturday, arrived 2 hours early, although they said it wasn't a problem and let me in. Procedure was not complicated, waited for my number to get called out, had my current passport scanned and had biometrics taken.

Got an email following Monday stating that my "application for leave has been granted" and that I will receive the decision letter and BRP in "due course". Checking the "Right to Work" using my current (not expired) BRP number said "There is no limit on how long you can stay in the UK".

Having previously waited a year for a decision with the Home Office which lead to a lot of anxiety, and considering the circumstances of this application, getting the email response the next working day was very relieving.

Just figured I'd share my experience.

Hi, I will applying for a Tier 4 switch to Tier 2. May I check if I have to travel down to a Service Centre (there is none near me) or there is an option to get my biometrics scanned at the Post Office? Also, I can upload scanned documents to the online system by myself? Thank you!

You have to attend an appointment at UKCVAS.

I shall be applying for ILR with my dependents (wife and kid over 18 yrs), understand I need to submit 2 Applications (Set-O forms for my case). When it comes for UKVCAS Biometric appointment, do I need to book 2 slots? I will be paying extra for out of office hours appointment. What are my chances to get the 2 slots on same time? or just 1 appointment will do?

Hi cr001,
This is then misleading of HO for people applying under Flr fp to have 8 weeks as timeline only to be waiting more than 4 months and still without any more of status update.
After paying more than £2K a common status update is necessary.

I will escalate to the steers to understand what is going on. If you cannot deliver timelines, it's important to raise an issue quickly to manage expectation. Something HO should know.

You have applied for FLR(FP) private life route and it is well known that these decisions can take up to a year to decide, sometimes even longer.

Who told you that you would get a decision within 6-8 weeks??

Your case will be transferred to asylum just like mine and everyone else. My private life application was transferred to asylum after 5 months, they will send you a latter stating that and also your money will be refunded.

Looks like the main site is now live: https://www.ukvcas.co.uk/home-internal
I dont think that you can use this site if you have not completed the application form on UKVI website.
This how it works,
You complete the online application, make payment and then you will be directed to the ukvcas website to book your appointment. You will be given a code to activate the ukvcas account.
select the appointment centre that suits you, make any payment (if applicable) and then you have your appointment booked. That's how it works.
I also noticed that you cannot change the appointment date, you can only cancel and book another one.
Hi, I haven't applied for UKVI website, I send all the documents to Home Office, now they send me a Post letter stating I must bring their letter to nearest Post Office, and do my biometric. Home OFFICE got all the my documents, didn't return it to me. I've been to 4 post office, and they told me that Home Office dont do it anymore since the contract end, so, I end up driving TO Eastbourne Library, apparently they can do it their, when I get their she couldn't help me coz i have to book an appointment, fair enough, even in the Letter I received at Home Office stating that I don't have to book an appointment. The lady works their couldn't helped me either, so, I phone the Sopra and still couldn't help me to make an appointment for my biometric, so what I must do? I tried to phone home office and of course! No Luck! Is anyone can suggest how this Biometric done and how to book an appointment? Thank you

Hello,

Application for FLR under 10 year parent route.

For proof of financial support of child, will online pdf bank statements suffice?

This topic is not a general one for visa queries. It is specifically from last year when the new ukcvas system started.
