My wife's case is now over 13 weeks waiting for any information on the brp replacement applied within UK .

She submitted details via IDV app on 24/01/2022 and not had any further information on decision.

Can someone advise how to get any information from home office?

Hi,

I applied to Change my Last name on my BRP (Married name)
It’s been 9 weeks and still waiting for ukvi decision.
Does anybody have idea how long it takes? Called, emailed and mail them many times but still no good feedback.

Travelling back home in 2 weeks time. Can I still use my present BRP with Maiden name on it and my new passport with my married name?

Advise please.

Thanks for your reply.

Just for reference. I have received my decision letter for my BRP extension (ILR) just now. Here’s my timeline:

UKVI application form sent: 27/2/22
UKVCAS F2F appointment invitation: 7/3/33
UKVCAS biometric appointment: 9/3/22
Received decision email: 9/5/22
Physical card: Awaiting (email says within 7 working days)

It took about 8.5 weeks from biometrics submission to decision date (10 weeks from application date). They didn’t ask me any further documents or any additional infos.

Hi I have a valid pre settlement status but I don’t have brp, so I applied for replacement brp on 9th May through idv app submitted documents as well. So when can I expect to receive it? I intend to travel in June,

Hi,
I submitted my biometrics with the IDV app and got an email from UKVCAS confirming submission. The visa application page still tells me to book an appointment. I have not heard anything else from UKVI. Is it normal for the application page to be stale?

Thought I would post here in case it helps anyone...waiting on three (!) replacement BRPs (settlement ones). The timeline for the one that came through is:

Application submitted 3 May 2022
Submitted biometrics in person 25 May 2022
Approval 24 June 2022
Received card 29 June 2022

We haven't yet received any information about the two other permits, both of which had documents submitted via the app (the first one on 9 May).

I'm not sure if this is because the other two permits are for adults/people not born in the UK (our daughter was born here while we were on Tier 2) or if it's better to submit documents in person.

Good luck, everyone!

Thank you very much. Your information is helpful.
I also applied for BRP replacement on May and submitted documents etc via app. Have you received other two decision letters?

Hello, could you let me know if you had received approval for your other applications? My timeline is below and hadn't heard anything yet but on the last Friday received emails that we didn't attend appointments on time although we submitted biometrics information via app. I feel awful now.

Application submitted 6 May 2022
Submitted biometrics via app 10 May 2022
Received email from HO we didn't attend appointments 8 July 2022

Hi there, really sorry for your stress. Second of the three was approved on 8 July, so just under two months' processing time.

Maybe you should call the Home Office to ask why they thought you needed to attend appointments when you used the app? Sounds very chaotic.

Good luck and I hope it is sorted soon.

Approval email: 05/09/2022

Is there anyone else who are waiting for BRP replacement decisions?
