UK Immigration app check photo question

Hi everyone,
I am applying for a BNO and I am right at the page where I have to pay the IHS.
I was looking back on my application and I realised I might have done something terribly wrong in the app check.
The app asks for you to scan your passport, scan you face (while your phone screen flashes), and lastly, take a selfie. When I did the step for taking the selfie, I only took a photo of a photo, and now people are telling me that this will risk my visa getting rejected. However, I dont think I can go back to do the identity check through the app again.

What should I do? Should I cancel my application and start again if that is allowed? Thank you

If photo is not OK, you will be informed it does not meet spec and to provide afresh meeting the requirements.
