UK Visit Visa- India - got decision email but still waiting for passport delivery.

Hi,

Has anyone been in this situation in india where they have received decision email and opted for courier but the passport hasnt been delivered next day. I received below mail but still waiting for passport delivery. Normally for our previous applications once we receive decision email, passport is delivered next day from UKVI New Delhi.

Yes, first application for in laws was refused but applied again & the visa approved for 6months.

Yes, first application for in laws was refused but applied again & the visa approved for 6months.

Probably that's why the passport was sent straight away next working day the first time you applied, since your visa was refused and there was no need to print a sticker.

If your passport has been sent to another embassy to get the sticker (Belgium), or the sticker order comes from another embassy, I suggest you to wait one or two more days until is being processed. Think about the transit time to get to and from there.

If you don't get any response soon, you should call VFS in New Delhi to know if they have your passport already.

Got the vice versa.

I got email from VAC for passport collection but no decision email from UKVI. Opted for courier so will take a few days to arrive.

What does that mean? Approved or Refused?

Used priority service. Could it be why I didn’t get any email to say a decision is made?

Anyone has similar experience and what was the outcome?
