Uk Visit Visa

Some people didn’t get any text and they turned up at the visa processing office and collected their passports. I know the issue email says don’t visit until asked but after one week is it ok to visit the office? The way they are operating who knows they might never send a text or call for collection?

did VFS taken your parents passports ? i got issued email and this is my second time issued but this time VFS hasn't taken my passport during submission, let me know what's next do we walk to VFS centre with this issued email or we just wait for next email, but i'm not sure aboit VFS as last time they said to me that i got courier tracking number by email by my passport deliver at my home without any email. so that's why i'm not expecting much from VFS. let me know what's your thoughts ?

Passport delivered with Visa today 14/10/21

When did you do the biometrics? date??

I spoke to VFS and they advised to wait for a second email that will tell us to submit passport. I am in the UK.

Was thinking to send a family friend to lahore and ask the office but I don't want to cause an issue.

My mom given biometrics on 31st August in Chennai still haven't received any update. Sent an email and got reply saying its in process. Anyone here in the same boat?

Applied for visit visa for mum 3/September/2021, Cochin vfs. Got email saying received in Chennai 4/9/21.15 working day finished on 25/9/21. 24/9/21 did paid email service got reply about delayed processing on 28/9/21. First escalation done on 15/9/21. Again paid email enquiry done on 5/10/21, got reply it’s on processing waiting for decision. Another reply email was given its reescalated on 8/10/21. Today is 27wd, no reply yet. Until or just before October 15 they were prioritising student visa. Most of the students who applied on the same timeframe got visa & already here. Some visit visas also here. We applied through solicitor & he said no one applied on the same timeframe through him got it yet. Even if it’s rejection they should have informed. I might have made atleast 5 calls as well. It’s all the same answer it’s on processing. If anyone else applied on the same timeframe and got it, please reply.

ok i have friend who applied on 24th August and he got the visa by 30th September so its taking more then 30 days for now. So i think your friend would have got the visa by now .

Is it visitor visa???

My friend parents got the visa - both the friends who applied in august and september - for both them it took 30 days after biometrics from the same vfs office

Don't worry it's quite normal you father will get his passport in few days. Be relax. Its v normal

We got an email this afternoon saying passport has been dispatched via courier.

Brother, I received an email from VFS Global Karachi. In which it was asked to submit your passport to VFS Global Karachi.

3 months minimum. Is acceptable.

Minimum 3 months is acceptable. As I submitted with my visa application and it is successful by the grace of Almighty Allah.

The processed visa application for GWF no. ……. was received at the UK Visa Application Centre on Mon Oct 18 2021. If a courier service was purchased from VFS, your processed visa application will be delivered to the chosen address. If not, your documents can be collected during the designated passport collection times. - VFS Global
