Don't know about the number of Pdf's but once the file is uploaded it will show up on the portal automatically.kchakrabarty wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 10:36 amHi,
I have a general enquiry regarding uploading documents online.
1. Is there a limit on how many number of pdfs can be uploaded online? I know that there is a file size limit of 6mb per individual upload.
2. Can you see any sort of confirmation that gives us comfort whether the file has been uploaded online successfully?
Kind Regards,
KChakrabarty
You can combine the PDF's also?kchakrabarty wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 10:48 amThanks Badhodor for your prompt response. My query about number of pdfs is mainly because of the number of online bank statements that I plan to attach for myself and my wife, 3 different accounts for each. I have a letter from my bank confirming that the statements are authentic, which I believe should be sufficient enough. I am just worried that it may not let me upload more than a specified number of documents.
Can anyone else on this forum please help me with this query?
Approval letter arrived on 7th on January with Roayl Mail and BRP on 7th with DX. Both were dated 03.01.2019. Overall took less than a week between biometric appointment and receiving ILR card.annawestlondon wrote: ↑Thu Jan 03, 2019 3:24 pmHi all, hopefully my post will give strenthg for those who are planning to apply soon.
ILR: SET (0), after 5 years on working visa with the same employer
Timeline
31 December 2018.
Submitted application and all scanned documents. Booked biometric in Croydon for next working day, other Lodon centers were not avaliable. Didn't book any documents checkings.
2 January 2019.
Took me 2.5 hours to complete biometric appointment, documents have been sent to HO at 12.30 pm. Everything went smothly, but due to amount of people and careful security checks queue didnt move fast. Guy only scanned my current passport and biomentrics appointment confirmation document, no any other documents were needed at that point.
If you have a scanner, it's much better to scan and upload all documents yourself, saves a lot of time for you and other people. Only current passport has to be scanned on special machine, all other documents are fine with usual scanners.
3 January 2019.
At 2.30 pm received email from my case worker from Sheffild with confirmaiton of granted IRL. At that time my scanned docuemnts were not "frozen" at Sopra's account, so i dont think it has any connection with status of your applicaton.
Required documents:
- Employement Letter
- Letter about absenses
- Police registration
- Current BRP
- Current passport
- Old passport
- Declaration - checks consent (you can download and sign it while submitting application)
- Payslip
- Bank statement (printed in branch + stamp on every page)
- Masters degree from UK university
- Life in the UK test
They still have not clear documents in the list:
"Evidence of XXX's immigration status in the UK", but not current BRP
and
"For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 2 migrant, documents showing that you met the
relevant requirements of the immigration rules."
So just in case i scanned:
- Old working visa and PSV (were not required)
- Old approval letters (were not required)
- SoC for my current BRP (were not required)
Will update you about posting time, once receive letter and a card.
Your application is submitted online so you don't have to do that
Hi Cjacja_1234 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 1:44 pmAnyone (apart from a few lucky ones on this post) who enrolled biometrics 26 Nov - 1 Dec still waiting?
I applied for SET(O) using Super Priority at Manchester Library on 1 Dec.
After numerous escalations, contacting MP and also sending emails to complaints department, still no news for me.
I'm still waiting, appointment was on 28th Nov and was a pretty simple Tier 2G to ILR 5 year route. Starting to get pretty fed up with these muppets now!cja_1234 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 1:44 pmAnyone (apart from a few lucky ones on this post) who enrolled biometrics 26 Nov - 1 Dec still waiting?

I am waiting since 8th December. Tried everything 3 times escalation calls, email to MP and complaint email but no news so far. Yesterday received a generic email saying that your application is under consideration and and we expect to make a decision within 6 months of the date of your application, which is our service standard" which doesn't make sense at all after one month. I haven't received any email from HO asking for any further information. Not sure what is going on. Mine was very simple and straight forward application: ILR through 5 year tier 2 (general) route Set(0). Previous to that i was on Post study work visa. Have got two master's degrees from UK. Every time calling customer service is useless.
Exactly in the same boat as you.cja_1234 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 1:44 pmAnyone (apart from a few lucky ones on this post) who enrolled biometrics 26 Nov - 1 Dec still waiting?

Good timing...Yes, indeed.Timothy Tao wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 3:27 pmDear old friends in this thread,
I had a short break during the xmas/new year time and expecting to get some news on my application but there is not any. Just read through all the post from page 33 to 67.
Thanks @oldmankensey for listing all people's application status and congratulations for getting your visa in the end!
Thanks @badhodor for keep updating us on what you did and hope you can get your visa soon!
Not sure about the others @FarooqShah86 @saimajaan @ecu-daba @qwmm @avishekm what is the status of your application?
Myself have been waiting since 28 Nov 2018 submitted via super priority SET (O) ILR
I have also escalated 3 times but this is just useless as I can see from you all and my own experience.
I email my local MP again today, hoping he can do something.
I have not wrote to complain to the HO thinking that it won't help, but will do today.
I am happy to discuss with you further on what we should do (together) regarding this matter, even face to face in London.
