hey nim,
we run into this same screen a few weeks ago. It reverted to back to the standard and super priority screens after as few days as dilse4srk stated. I will advise you to wait for a few days if you are not in a hurry. The super priority option should pop up soon.

HI

Once you are on the final check checklist, you will get two services

Standard
and new super priority service
once you select that, you will be asked to pay 3018 and once the payment is completed then you will be redirected to sopra site to book appointment. It will be helpful if you could share a screenshot of your current application screen
I filled my application Set(O) yesterday and could access Priority service.

How many from Nov and Dec are still awaiting decision?

The rate at which UK V&I is clearing the backlog is not encouraging at all.

Sorry i did submit my wife’s passport.

No they didn’t ask for marriage certificate but I sent it anyway.

All files were under 6 mb, I had to adjust the scanner quality between 180 to 200 dpi. I made sure quality is good and opted for quality check.

For the SET(M) application you only need to scan declaration form and at the end there is a declaration for you as an applicant which is part of the application. I did not print any other type of consent ad they haven’t asked for it.

I combined the bank statement in order in 1 file.

Files:

1. 12 bank statements although I only had to submit 6
Did you upload them under same file?if the answer is yes how did you manage to keep the file under 6MB?
2. 12 payslios although I only had to submit 6
Same first question?

3. Life in the UK test

4. My Masters degree taught in the UK

5. Employer letter stating start date, period of employment(from start to current), annual salary from April 2017 to April 2018 and from April 2018 to current time. And in the same letter my employer confirmed that my payslios are genuine and stamped by the company.

6. Marriage certificate
Did they ask for it ?
7. Mortgage agreement and statement
8. 16 joint letters of correspondence (you only need 6)
Same first question?
9. Current passport and old expired passports
Same first question?
10. Current BRp
11. Recent council tax
12. Declaration form signed by my wife

From your list you didn't submit consent confirmation form for home office to check your documents? And also you didn't submit
Your wife proof of settlement?

Hi R-graphite,

Did you get an email or a message notification when your BRP is being delivered as I've had my decision/approval email on 7th January along with Arrpoval letter same day but not received BRP yet and it is of no help when contacting Home Office or DX they are just making me go round and round in circles

Hi Praveenv

I don't think they are clearing any backlog this week. I haven't heard any progress since last 3 days.

I am waiting since 8th December, did 3 escalations, sent complaint email on 21st december, but no response yet, wrote to MP this week, he said he will contact Home Office within 10 working days. This wait is getting more difficult now.

My FOI request for the number of cases that failed to meet the 24 hours service standard in the first 4 weeks of UKVCAS system has just been refused by the UKVI! They confirmed that they hold this information but won't release it until later this year. I will submit the request again in a couple of months.

At least for me they are not - last time I was told to wait for a month.

Hi, I didn’t receive any email of when the DX will deliver. I only received a generic mail from HO saying that It will arrive within 7 days.
But I made sure to contact DX online using their chatting system and asked them everyday if they have a BRP for me at my address and I found them helpful as they told me that today you will be receiving it and I did.

I applied for my wife's SET(LR) using new service and super priority next day option on 01 Jan, 2019 and booked appointment for £100 in Birmingham centre for Wed, 09 Jan. Location near Birmingham airport was easy to find with ample free parking. Appointment time was for 10am and we got there at 9:40am. Surprised that room was full of people, probably from morning appointments. The waiting room was pretty small and cramped. Main officer in charge and all others were nice though, friendly, first checked appointment details and passport, then called for biometrics after 1/2 hour and finally we were called for document upload after another 1 hour. In all, we left the office just after 12pm, so process took around 2.5 hours, because some people take a long time to upload their documents. We however had uploaded most of ours beforehand but still needed half hour for checks and submission. I asked person about document upload page which only allows for uploading to optional documents and she said that was fine. Apparently, the passport scan they do themselves and is part of the mandatory category. Next two days on Thurs and Friday we were expecting to hear from case worker by email within 24 hours, but we got letter in post signed for on Monday, third working day after we had the appointment, which was dated 11 Jan. So it took longer than 24 hours and perhaps because ours was a complicated case. Result was not good, we got refused. But point is, procedure was pretty straightforward. Hope others have a good experience!

Sorry to hear about your refusal, did they tell the reason for refusal and options that you may have. Also this is the first refusal on this thread so will be great to know why it got refused.

I called them twice and on both the occasion I got two different address;

PriorityPostalRequests@HomeOffice.gsi.gov.uk
PriorityServiceRequests@HomeOffice.gsi.gov.uk

Will wait 2 more days and if nothing happens than will send the email on this address.

Did you received the email from Home Office after your biometric ?

Ok - so your application was priority and the above emails correspond to that.
I am guessing there is no email for super priority service.

I didn't receive any emails after the biometrics.
Only generic emails after each escalation.

I thought I am the only one that is still waiting since 28 Nov. I am also on SET O 5 year T2 to ILR route.
Your delay is even longer than mine. I am also waiting for some results from MP's help done last week. Shake hands :)))

Shake hands mate...👋👋👋
Still waiting😖😩😫

What’s annoying is that they have total disregard for ‘first come, first serve’ at all....No offence to all who have got their outcomes- which is brilliant really !!!...it seems like applying in Jan was much much better and faster than Nov...but we can’t go back, can we?

just wondering if all the waiters fm Nov and Dec had Visa rejections before - which could technically be classified as ‘bad’ immigration history, esp with newly trained HO staff...I had 3 rejections in a row on my first ever application for a UK Visa for very silly reasons, which were then sorted...my worry is that- has this history prompted my application to be thrown into the 6-month pile ???...mistaking it as a complicated one 🧐

If all the waiters have such issues (as a common factor), this could be the answer for the delay....and the dilemma that some are getting it pretty quickly and some are just waiting for ages...
I'm still waiting - my biometrics were on 28th Nov and I've got a clean immigration history. No rejections.

Thanks !
Which means that wasn’t a criterion fir the delay...so let’s waaait then.

Finally Folks...Finally !!!
Whilst on my lunch break an hr back, got an email from Tier 2/5 Operations team @HO stating that:
My ILR application has been granted and that the approval letter and BRP shall follow.

Application via 5 yr Tier -2 route for ILR - Set (O)
Biometrics submitted : 24th NOVEMBER 2018.

Four escalations via phone and received generic replies- third of which was from the Permanent Migration team stating that it’s under consideration and to may take upto 6 months.

Then, as per suggestions in this thread- sent a mail to my MP 2 wks back - to which I got a reply the very next day- that his team was in touch with the DG @ HO.

Still nothing...sent a mail to the complaints e-mail yesterday....But, I presume it was my MP’s response that nailed it.

I know that a heavy rock is off my shoulders, Thank Goodness...but since it’s been there since 8 weeks- day n night, honestly I’m still feeling it...right now my only concern is for those who had been waiting with me since Nov and early Dec- of the likes of Timothy, Maadihali etc...I’m sure its in the pipeline folks.

NB: had mixed feelings to read the last line of the mail- ‘thanks for using our super priority service’.

My advice to those waiting:
- Get your MP involved ASAP.
- Send a mail to the complaints e-mail.

Next:
-Wait for BRP
-Can anybody advise how long should one wait before u can apply for the passport ?

Thanks to all who kept me going so far.
Especially, the moderators...tnx☺️

Hi All,

Time for my update:

Tier 4 ==> PSW ==> Tier 2 (Same employer) ==> ILR

10th Dec 2019: Complete Application Set(o) (would have completed early but due to my lazy lawyer)

7 Jan 2019: Biometric Date (again didn't find any early dates and free one was on 7th)
Got call from lawyer on the same day at around 3:30 pm requesting for more documents even-though I
uploaded them all don't know why they couldn't find however, I still emailed it to
lawyer and lawyer emailed them back

8 jan 2019: called home office with usual feedback as to wait for 5 working days.
11 Jan 2019: called home office, told me to call on 14th jan
12 jan 2019: emailed complaints
14 jan 2019: called home office but they told me to call on 15th jan
14 jan 2019: emailed MP (no response till now)
14 jan 2019: another email complaint as i missed to provide my case ID
15 jan 2019 called and they took my details
16 jan 2019: received generic email at 1:11 pm email stating "we will progress your application within 24 hrs bla bla bla"
17 jan 2019: emailed my MP again and another MP within my borough. (My main MP didn't reply but other MP replied and forwarded my email to my main mp)
17 jan 2019: 3:02 pm lawyer called me that my application was approved and i got an email (no letter no brp yet)

The email was like this

“Dear Mr XXX,

I’m pleased to confirm that your application for indefinite leave to remain under Tier 2 of the immigration arrangements has now been granted. You will receive your decision letter and biometric residence permit (BRP) in due course and these will confirm your immigration status. Thank you for using our super priority service.”

Kind Regards
,

Finally, this is just a hunch but it seems like if you receive a generic email which you can see below maybe its a sign that your application will be looked at. This is my assumption so it might be right and might not be.

Thank you for contacting UKVI Contact Centre.

We aim to complete all applications within the 24-hour service standard. However, where we are not able to do this we will complete the application as quickly as possible and where delays in making the decision are not the fault of the customer, the super priority service fee will be refunded.

Anyway, great news to all of us waiting since Nov.!!

Keep talking to us here so we don't get more and more lonely :///

Passport should be 1 year after.
Best wishes!
