very similar thing happen to me as well they noted my details when call them this morning using options 3 2 1 1 and few hours later get this email saying that
Thank you for contacting UKVI Contact Centre.
Our records show that your application has not yet been completed. We are unable to advise when a decision will be made but you will be notified in writing once made. Until such time, we are unable to assist further.
We are sorry we cannot be of further assistance
its seems normal email send by Contact centre Finally i think we have to wait for Ho to reply.
Given that my application was submitted on 28 Nov 2018 at the Croydon centre with super priority new service and didn't receive any updates until 4 Dec 2018, I just called the UKVI Contact centre with the same number and options. However, they are now saying that they cannot check my application status and cannot give me any information. They didn't even ask my case ID, I was only told to wait for HO to get in touch with me once decision is made and the decision time required depends on individual circumstances.

Any idea how to push them to check the status or give me something even like "Our records show that your application has not yet been completed." ?
what is "case id". where do you find that.
Once you submit application, you get confirmation email about submission of application and along with they give case id.

yes that is right. depends on who picks up your call.

thanks for the update
Dear mail 9
Have you received any information.
I have also applied my ILR in Super priority service on 27/11/2018. Haven't heard anything yet. Tried to call, the gentleman gathered information and no response so far.

no i have no heard from them. the contact centre lady told me not to keep calling them again and again. i have to wait for 5 days and then call
some of them are very very rude that you wonder why you have paid so much for hear all they have to say. we have to report this. anybody had the same experience?
Yes most of them are very rude but few were bit helpful. Having said that system is broken. Kind of service one gets after paying a huge fees is pathetic.

Dear all

Extremely frustrating.

00.30am December 1 (Saturday): Online application SET (O) submitted under Super Priority

9.00am December 1 (Saturday): Attended a Sopra Steria appointment on the same day at Manchester main library centre. The staff was very nice there, and the guy who did my document upload check and passport check said my application is very organised and he would be surprised if I am contacted for further information

2.56pm December 3 (Monday): emailed ApplyOnlineE-Support@homeoffice.gov.uk to check the status. No reply

4.05pm December 3 (Monday): received an email from "hocommunications@communications.homeoffice.gov.uk" with a case ID and using my "other old names" on the application saying "It may take up to six months to make a decision on your case. If we are unable to process your application within six months, we will tell you as soon as possible."

December 4 - 5 (Tuesday and Wednesday): I have been calling UK VI number option 4 then 1 saying the standards are not met. I managed one guy to note down my details around 9.30am on December 5. I also called DX to check if there is a parcel for me. The lady said she has nothing and asked me to check tomorrow again

2.18pm December 5: I received an email from "UKVIcontactcentre@homeoffice.gov.uk" saying that "
Our records show your application has not yet been completed. We are unable to advise when a decision will be made, but you will be notified in writing once made. The lady is from Croyden Centre operations and left a phone number and her email address in the signature.

I called the Croyden centre number as written in the email and another lady picked up, and the conversation started from where I got the number from. Then she said the super-priority service does not guarantee anything and the extra money is the risk I have to take. Then she said even if I call the UKVI contact centre the answer would be the same. Then she said she has to end this call now. She was extremely rude.

Then I replied to the email "UKVIcontactcentre@homeoffice.gov.uk" asking for the clarification of "Our records show your application has not yet been completed" because as far as my application is concerned, it is completed. I completed the form, paid the right amount then attended an appointment. Then the lady answered in one line (without any formality) "Decision process is not yet completed".

I think I can request for the refund with this evidence although supposedly I get a letter later dated on December 4? I wonder if they just make up the bad quality date!

Has anyone gone through a similar situation and attended an appointment at Manchester central library recently and received a decision by now?
I applied from Manchester as well on 27/11/2018. Still waiting for decision. But I have seen some cases from Manchester who have received a decision.

Re: Experience from the London Premium Lounge, EC3R 7AF

Post by Min8585 » Thu Dec 06, 2018 3:53 am

My husband just applied for ILR. We used the super priority service . We went to Premium lounge in mark lane -London ( service charges a bit more £200-£260). It’s nice and quiet, you have one dedicated person doing everything.

Parters are not allowed to go in the room ( wait in waiting area). They have separate rooms - only for applicants. It was very quick. It took about 1 hour and ten minutes to complete everything. We did not upload anything prior to this, I guess you have the choice if you have facilities or they just upload everything for you but make sure they are scanning your vital documents.

So you need to go with your appointment letter and obviously your documents , passports to be scanned digitally.

My husband found the dedicated staff was not thoroughly checking What he had to submit. My husband had to tell staff member she is forgetting to scan work wages on bank statement.

My advice is take your printed checklist ( they should have one too but looks like she expected us to hand in ours)

We took our original passports but she expected photocopies taken as well but this was not mentioned- they are meant to do this - it’s just laziness.

I think the staff need more training as some of them had to get their colleagues to help with uploading ect. Not checking thoroughly the necessary paper required.

They complete biometric processing and face photograph and take a signature .

Service is quick . They have a nice area with coffee, tea, tea party display for you to help yourself, cold drinks .

Now not sure how long it takes for a decision, was told 24 hours .

Sound like not a very great experience when you have spent a lot of money to get this all done and checked properly by them.
You must have spent more than £3200.00 and the service you have received is not good. I feel they have topped up the visa fee with lot of extra options so that applicants think there will be a benefit for choosing any of the optional services but don't think there is any.

It would be better and beneficial for people to go to their local library prior to their appointment to scan and upload all the supporting documents which is all FREE for the use of normal public who don't have computer and scanning facilities. Then go to their appointment and you don't need to pay anything for the optional services.

Thanks.

Guys, if you receive an email saying your application is not complete, it is likely that your application was not submitted after your biometrics appointment. On the day of appointment, I asked to see the receipt and they were nicely showing me their screen. Basically I guess they have three options: submit immediately, submit at the end of the day 22.00pm on that day; not known. The Sopra staff asked me if I was happy for them to submit my application now (immediately), I said yes, and they showed me the screen and the options to click until it was shown submitted successfully.

I would therefore suggest anyone before checking with UKVI to call 03301231199 - Sopra helpline. They can confirm if you application was submitted. You can see, logically your application will only be considered by caseworker (UKVI) once it has been submitted (by Sopra).

This is very useful information. Thank you! It appears from your experience that is safer to upload documents yourself. As to the original passports, did they expect photocopies to make it easier for them to scan and upload? If that is the case, then if the applicant has already uploaded passports, I guess photocopies are not needed ? I wish partners were allowed in! I would have liked to accompany my husband so we could double check everything was done correctly. However, it is as it is! Thanks again and good luck!

At the end of my Sopra Steria appointment, I asked for a confirmation and they also showed me their screen of "Submitted". I haven't heard from Home Office since. After calling the UKVI multiple times I managed to get my details down. Instead of a case worker contacting me within a few hours I received an email from Home Office operations team in Croyden saying "Our records show your application has not yet been completed". I asked for the clarification because As far as my application is concerned, it is complete as I submitted the application online and attended an appointment to enrol biometrics on 1 December 2018. The lady replied one line: "Decision process is not yet completed"

this thread is a perfect illustration of the saying "misery loves company".

I have to say, I'm slightly less anxious today compared to two days ago because I see others in the same boat. They are in a mess and no doubt there are hundred of "24hr decision" applications in a log jam for some reason.

We had our appointment on Friday Nov 30th and there seem to be quite a few people from second half of last week (28th, 29th, 30th) who are still in the dark.

Hey, what do you mean by generic biometric email?
I went for my biometric appointment on 26th and so far have not heard anything.
Thanks.
I got an email saying from UKVI, just like the application confirmation with my case reference up top, saying I should have received a biometric notification letter with instructions for providing my biometric data within 15 working days from the letter. It also said that if I've already provided by biometrics, then I should ignore the email.

It sounded like an email aimed at those applying by post and not to me as I applied using the super priority service so assumed it was an automated email.
ok, Thanks.

How did your lawyer get the update? Officially from Home Office or some sources/connections he has?

@Maelgrim

I paid £100 for the out of hours in SOPRA STERIA centre in Croydon on november 24th as the next appointment would be december 4th and i didnt want to wait as i have a christmas trip planned. Its now the 9th day after submission of biometrics and I have heard nothing. Have been checking my email like crazy and super anxious at work but now I am seeing that not many people are receiving emails. I dont know if i will receive my BPR before the 22nd when i travel!! But i would have thought so as i paid PRIORITY service and was sure I would get it in 10 days!

Will i get it all in one parcel or do i get a letter and then the BPR card on a different day ??

Uk Visa immigration website very misleading, they quoted 24 hour decision for super priority service, paid £600 more. The staff at the centre also said to my husband that he will get a email in 24 hours. We went on 5/12/18 11:00 and it’s 6/12/18 , 30 hours , still no reply.

If you have the facilities then upload your self prior to appointment but you still have to take all documents , if not then don’t worry they can upload but please make sure they are scanning the right pages ect . The one allocated to my husband seemed nice but was not paying attention and my husband was reminding her to take copies of my wages ect. Or relevant page. I overheard conversation in the centre where staff are talking amongst them selves about stuff they were not sure about , so it was not very reassuring at all.

It’s a shame they don’t let partners go in otherwise I would have checked more thoroughly when they called my husband ( his English is not fluent ).

You have to take original passport, they seem to prefer photocopies if you have one . My work payroll and HR have gone paperless but had to get my printed payslips and confirmation letter signed and stamped ( immigration are always fussy so it’s better to get it authorised )

I called immigration and asked the duration of the decision. The operator explained they process it in 24 hours and make the decision but applicants will receive postal letter or email with necessary action required/ outcome ect. In 5 working days.

So nervous

Quick update from me, called UKVI yesterday to ask for an update as my appointment was on 28 Nov and I hadn't heard back at all. The gentleman on the phone said that if I hadn't heard back by the end of the day, I should call back tomorrow.

As I sort of expected, I had no letter or email yesterday either so called back today and explained my situation. The lady on the phone took down my details and said I should hear back from them between 3 to 5 working days, which is appalling! Genuinely frustrated at how they're able to call this a super priority service...

This happened to me twice, once on Friday and Tuesday. yesterday when i called , the lady said i have to wait for 3 to 5 days, again. when i tried to explain that it is already more than 5 days since escalation, and another re-escalation, she said "dont call this number again and again" !. another guy gave me a complaints email and said this is all he can do for mr. if i have any more concerns i can complain in the complaints.gsi email where you have to give all your details .

Hi bhcool
May be this is the reason of delays. From where has your lawyer got this information.
