Hello mate: It is really stressing me out as I paid extra to get rid of waiting time. and it is still showing that she's current status has not been changed on https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work
Yes lots of people have paid the extra money for 24h decision like us but have yet to get an answer. It was unlucky as they changed the new system just 2 months prior to us being able to apply for SET (M)rezakandi wrote: ↑Thu Feb 14, 2019 7:14 pmHello mate: It is really stressing me out as I paid extra to get rid of waiting time. and it is still showing that she's current status has not been changed on https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work

It is so frustrating. I did my biometrics on 4 February and no response so far. I first called UKVI to escalate on 8 February and was told to call back in five days if not hearing anything. So I called today, but the lady on the phone told me I had to wait until end of today to count it as full five days and call back on Monday morning so she can escalate again. They don't give a crap about all the stress and frustration and the urgent personal matters we have to endure. A robot could probably do a better job to be a bit more human in dealing with applicants.hopeforall9 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 15, 2019 11:14 amDid my biometrics on the 25th January and still nothing. I tried to call to escalate again (did one on the 7th Feb) this morning but was told that because I got a generic email saying I could get a refund, that is considered me getting an update on my application and that I now can't call back until the 7th March! Im not sure what to think about this anymore. I have already had to cancel a business trip which I was supposed to go on at the end of next week and I have a holiday booked in April which I am starting to get really worried about. My MP did escalate on the 7th Feb as well so hoping he can get somewhere with my case soon. This whole system is definitely not fit for purpose
That’s not right. 24H + 5 working days would be on the 12th Feb.Wishingpig wrote: ↑Fri Feb 15, 2019 11:57 amIt is so frustrating. I did my biometrics on 4 February and no response so far. My MP also hasn't got back to me yet, emailed him on 11 Feb. I will call next week to raise the urgency.
Good luck everything who is still waiting...
Nothing. The agent said it would be passed onto the caseworker and I’ll get a response usually the same day.waitingresponse wrote: ↑Fri Feb 15, 2019 12:15 pmAny updates after escalation ? Did they gave any timeline ?

Apointment on 30/01/19
Email received on 30/01/19
Letter received from home office on 01/02/19
Biometric AWAITING..
It's been nearly 9 working days. On letter it does say 10. I am getting worried. Is there anyway to check when and how early can I receive my BRP. I have a new job offer and can't prove my eligibility to work as they don't accept the letter.
you are not alone my visa was approved on 17/01/2019 still waiting for BRP. Its almost 18 working days still no response.
My Solicitor filled the form after 10 working days even after that no response she had to make few emails and calls then they come back saying we have referred your case back to the original case worker to investigate and we will response in due course.
Not sure how long is due course me too waiting for the BRP as I have new job offer waiting
Thanks
Update on process, my Solicitor has received an email and letter saying they have lost mu Biometric Information and requesting for re do the Biometrics again in the participating Post Office and this Biometrics is for free of cost!!!!!!!!. And asking to email them as soon as I have done my biometrics
The letter made me surprise however I have no choice so I have to re take the biometrics and now waiting for them to come back
Thanks
Thank you for sharing your experience, I will contact them today and will also draft email for MP.Apexhound wrote: ↑Fri Feb 15, 2019 12:24 pmNothing. Got the generic email which I think is what the agent meant.
I don’t think it really helps as most of the members of this forum have already mentioned before.
Will be drafting out my email to my local MP now.
Yep, I had exactly the same thing, and was told it'd take 5 working days to get to the escalation (not even the case, I'd assume!). I think I'm on the same timeline as you guys. Am in the same place still too.Apexhound wrote: ↑Fri Feb 15, 2019 12:24 pmNothing. Congratulations!! That’s brilliant!hopeforall9 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 15, 2019 12:40 pmthough I just checked my status online and it now says 'There is no limit on how long you can stay in the UK!' Yesterday it still had my January 2020 date on it. I'm guessing this is good news and the wait is now over! No official email notification yet but hey at this point I will take what I can get at this point.
Congratulations. What a relief!hopeforall9 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 15, 2019 12:40 pmthough I just checked my status online and it now says 'There is no limit on how long you can stay in the UK!'
