though I just checked my status online and it now says 'There is no limit on how long you can stay in the UK!' Yesterday it still had my January 2020 date on it. I'm guessing this is good news and the wait is now over! No official email notification yet but hey at this point I will take what I can get at this point.
Congratulations. What a relief!

Hi all!!

I had my super priority appointment on the 8th of Feb and still haven't received any news (through post or email). I feel completely helpless at this point, I guess it is good to see that I am in the same boat as other people. Trying to be optimistic but my current visa will expire in the beginning of March and am now hoping to change to a spouse visa and haven't received word. I tried phoning the hoteline but they told me to phone on Monday for it to have been 5 working days after the appointment. Any other suggestions? Words of encouragement? A few other work colleagues have changed there visa over the last month and generally got their response that it has been granted within 24 hours so I am super anxious.

TIA

Hi Everyone.

This is my first post.

I received my ILR (Set O) positive decision today. I used the super priority service. I thought of registering to share my experience.

First of all, this website has helped me a lot to get less stressed during my time of waiting. My biometrics were taken on the 5th of Feb in Croydon. The UKVI website said I should hear the decision within 24 hours after the submission of biometric details.

During the past ten days, I just read the posts here and knowing that I was not alone in my situation helped a lot for me not to get so worried and stressed. Thank you to all who shared (and are still sharing) their experiences especially those who had to wait like me in spite of paying for the Super Priority Service.

This morning I decided to do some action after being passive for the past 9 days-

At past 9 am, I called up 0300 1232241 to chase the matter up.

At 10 am, I got an email: "Thank you for contacting UKVI Contact Centre. We aim to complete all applications within the 24-hour service standard. However, where we are not able to do this we will complete the application as quickly as possible and where delays in making the decision are not the fault of the customer, the super priority service fee will be refunded. Blah blah blah"

At 12 noon, I got a second email: "I’m pleased to confirm that your application for indefinite leave to remain has now been granted. You will receive your decision letter and biometric residence permit (BRP) in due course and these will confirm your immigration status. Thank you for using our super priority service."

I went to the gov.uk website (I learned about this website from some posts here) and when I keyed in the BRP number that I presently have, it says now "There is no limit on how long you can stay in the UK".

I am happy that I am now almost at the end of the application. I have a question, though. The first email I received (10am) said the super priority fee will be refunded if the 24 hour service was not met. In the 12 noon email where decision was announced, the last sentence was: "Thank you for using our super priority service" -- does this mean the UKVI considers this as they met the 24 hour service? (Like I chase up at 9 am and within 3 hours or so, they gave me the positive decision. But please bear in mind I submitted my biometric details in Croydon on the 5th of February. Any thoughts will be highly appreciated, thank you. I am keen to ask for a refund if I am entitled to one.

I have been advised by SS agent the application status can be tracked at Gov.uk by entering UAN number which is mentioned on the appointment confirmation letter.

Can anyone able to share the full link?

The document checklist is only meant to use as a check. You don't have to upload it online.
I thought the same until I saw the batch code on the front page (should be reason for it) or she need to give to the staff at centre to scan it?
Any thoughts about the batch code ?
How the staff at the centre can check the list of the support documents?
[/quote

That batch code on the document checklist form does not matter in my opinion. They are interested in the QR Code on your appointment confirmation. Only use the document checklist for your satisfaction and I suggest take a copy of that with you to the appointment.

thank you for your reply I have another query about how to upload your files
My wife is about to upload her files on the SS website but the PDF file name is limited to few characters so she can't see the whole name of the file
how did you manage to let all your name PDF file can be seen
What the case working can see the name of the file or description of the file?
Another thing when my wife upload the files the first one uploaded become the last one on the list of that category
For ex if you want upload 3 files A,Band C
If you start uploading file A then b then c
On the list of that category will be c,b and last is A
Iam thinking to upload the list of the any category by decroissent order (start from last one to the first one)
How did you upload your liste order?

Can someone remind me of what super priority deadlines are? 24 hours, correct?

I went to Reading UKVAS on 12 January for a 10 am appointment, and estimating 24 hours, I should have had an email by Monday 10 am. However, let's say that Saturday is a non working day for the Home Office, then by 10 am on Tuesday. UKVAS/HO missed this deadline, but by the end of the Tuesday I did get an email with a decision (no BRP yet in the mail as of today). While I know everyone else is facing MUCH worse, I wonder if I should press for some funds refunded given they didn't meet their own deadlines. Any thoughts?
Hi 2as9zj
Could I ask if you have asked for a refund? I’m in the similar condition, appointment on saturday and have not received anything on the next Monday yet.
Hi everyone, someone might have posted this already, but I wanted to give an update to my situation. I complained to the HO that they did not meet the 24 hour deadline and that the guidance on what constitutes '24 hours' was unclear and missing on their website. This was early Jan. You'll now notice, they do have a definition placed on there! It's 24 hours Mon-Friday, but if you attend a weekend say at 10 am, it would be then calculated from Monday 10 am to Tuesday 10 am as the 24 hours. That said - the HO emailed me 2 hours (yes!!) post that 24 deadline when they decided my visa, and after my original complaint I have now received confirmation that they will refund my 610 pounds for the super priority service. So if anyone out there is thinking of complaining because they missed the deadline within minutes or hours, to get a refund, they will have to honor their timelimits.

Hi all,

I have been reading this and a few other forums on ILR, timelines and super priority service. Having gone through similar situation twice I can only imagine what one feels. I hope this may help others -

Background: Applying for ILR SET(O) with a combination of Tier 1 General and Tier 2 General. I have been on T1G for 7 years but due to the nature of my work and silly rule of absences from the UK, I couldn’t apply for ILR before that category shut down last year and had to get on a Tier 2 G to continue my stay.

I have recently applied for ILR via a super priority service. Here's the latest status -

Type of application: SET (O)
Online application submission date: 17 Jan 2019
Biometrics appointment date and location: 26 Jan 2019, Birmingham
Default acknowledgement email received: 21 Jan, 2019
Decision email: waiting….
Decision letter (post): waiting….
BRP (post): waiting…

Raised 3 escalations -
Escalation 1 (via UKVI contact center): 4 Feb, 2019 - received a general email after that
Escalation 2 (via UKVI contact center): 6 Feb 2019 - was rudely told not to contact them again till 5 working days
Escalation 3 (via UKVI contact center): 12 Feb 2019 - the staff was nice this time and gave a reference number followed by a generic email

I finally decided to reach out to my MP on 13 Feb and just before I was about to send my email, I thought of checking the status of my BRP (link below) one last time and was pleasantly surprised by the change in its status. The status had changed to work for the sponsor till 2021 to you have no time limit to stay in the UK.

It's been 2 days since and I haven't received any email or letter yet. I am not even sure if this means a decision has been made? I understand that not everyone receives an email -is this true? Is this normal or more of an exception?

So for all those who are in the painful wait - you may want to regularly check the status of your current BRP at this link - https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work . I am not sure if this guarantees anything but it doesn't hurt.

Got the news technically last night that my ILR was granted when I checked my status online and got an approval letter in the post today! Here is my timeline:

Online Application submitted and documents uploaded: 18 Jan 2019
Biometrics submitted at UKVCAS Premium Lounge, Mark Lane, London: 25 Jan 2019 @11:30am

First escalation via phone: 1 Feb 2019
Complaint Email sent : 4th Feb 2019
Emailed MP: 4th Feb 2019 @ 5pm
Called again: 5th Feb 2019 around noon
Second escalation via phone: 7 Feb 2019 around noon

Then this is where things got a little weird. I called again on the 14th February and was told to wait until the next day to call to escalate again as it would of been the 5 working days. I checked my status online in the evening and it still showed my January 2020 expiry date. But when I tried to call on the morning of the 15th I was told that I would have to wait 30 days until I could call back (which had me very frustrated). But then I double checked my status online around noon and my status had changed to say I had no limit as to how long as I could live in the UK. This morning I got the approval letter in the post but it was dated on the 14th (though it took a full day for my status to change online).

But regardless of the date weirdness, I am so grateful that I finally got my decision. Now need to chase for a refund and my BRP!

Best of luck to everyone still waiting for their decisions.

Hello Everyone,

Finally good news after long wait. Today I received my BRP Card.

My Timelines is as below;
Online Application Submitted :- 12-Dec
Biometric Done :- 22-Dec
Brp Received :- 16-Feb
Notification Letter :- 16-Feb

3 Escalation done so far by calling 03001232241

And have not done any escalation to MP nor I have sent any complaint email to home office.

I applied using priority service but on my last escalation, I was been told that my application has been now on standard service as home office was not able to process the application within standard time frame for priority service.

So basically what I was been told was right as my application was processed within 8 weeks which is the standard time frame for PBS dependent application.

Still waiting for the refund.

This forum has really helped me with all my queries and I thank everyone for helping me out.

Good luck to everyone waiting for their application decision.

Regards,
Raj

not to alarm you guys, but I submitted my Tier 2 application at Sopra Steria in London in early December. it's been almost 2 months and I'm yet to receive a decision email or a new BRP.

I can only assume 24-hour service means it will be sent to the HO in a day, rather than processed in that time.

it's also pointless calling the HO's helpline. at first they told me to call back in 5 days if I still didn't receive an email. after doing that a few times they told me they can only "escalate the request" in 30 days.

I also get a different presumption about the delay depending on who I speak to ("it's a new service", "could've been a mistake in the email address" and so on), but no-one over the phone knows anything.

it's ridiculous of course, but there's not much you can do other than wait.
UPD: had my local MP get in touch with the home office a few weeks ago, but still nothing apart from yet another "thank you for contacting UKVI" email.

It will soon be 3 months since I submitted my application.

You can't see the entire pdf file name. I followed a 3 stage process for uploading the files to the Sopia Steria website.

1. I scanned all the files that I planning to upload on to the Sopia Steria website.
2. I then created sub-folders containing the Sopia Steria category names, such as Educational, Finances etc. I then slotted in the scanned documents in the relevant subfolders in line with what I had mentioned in my cover letter and evidence of relationship letter.
3. I then uploaded these documents on to the Sopia Steria website, using the sub-folder structure that I created. At the end of the process, you can cross check how many files in total have been uploaded, also you can see the split by section. You should be able to cross check this with the sub-folder structure that you have created. Finally, it is also useful to add a description to each of the files that you are uploading. Although you can't see the entire file name, the description should help.

I am one of those who has been following this thread for a while now. I wanted to share my timelines and my experience to all of those who are also applying for ILR (SET M).

Type of application: ILR SET(M)
Online application submission date: 25th January 2019 at 5pm
Documents uploaded online: between 28th Jan 2019 to 11th February 2019
Biometrics appointment date and location: 13th February 2019 @11am, Croydon
Confirmation email received: 14th February 2019 @8:35am > ILR Granted
Official Letter: Arrived on 16th February 2019
BRP : Received today 18th Feb 2019 at 11:40am

I arrived in Croydon center at 10:40am for my 11am appointment. All the staff there were very nice and helpful. I was checked in and then sent upstairs (1st floor). On the 1st Floor, I was given a number and asked to take a seat. Within 5mins later, I was called to have my biometrics photo & fingerprints taken. I had trouble with this because the first booth I was at, I couldn't get my fingerprints done. Had to abort twice and finally told the lady that I wanted to change to another booth. The second booth was better, got all done and went to take a seat but almost immediately got called to verify my documents. I have uploaded all my documents and labelled them clearly therefore the validation was quick. The lady that checked my documents was very thorough. I told her to take her time and check everything because I didn't want to come back :D She did and then I was done and was out of the center around 11:20am. Overall very good experience but I was still worried today until I got the email confirming that the ILR application has been successful.

Exactly like me as well, also appointment on the 8th in Croydon. Since then radio silence. Called today to escalate. The first woman on the phone told me I could only escalate tomorrow (this after last week I called 3 seperate times all to be told I can only escalate today....) Hung up the phone very angry but decided to call again and the second person did escalate my case (interesting how they can each decide what they please....) Very nervous and frustrated as I am due to finish work and need my new visa to start my new life....

They have taken my details and said that the case worker or relevant person will be in contact regarding the case. I have requested them to reach by phone instead of email as I remember seeing others get generic email replies instead of specific answers.

To be honest, not much hope after the call but a way to escalate.

I will be looking at sending an email to local MP if I haven’t heard anything today and tomorrow.

By the way, have you heard anything since your appointment? Email confirmation?

Looks like the results are mixed from people to people and there is no consistency.

I would like to share my experience so far: SET (O) Super Priority Service

Application submitted online: 5th Feb
Biometric appointment at Croydon: 11 am, 6th Feb (Paid £100 more for the appointment)
Email complaint: 13th Feb
Called: 14th Feb

I haven't received any information from anyone since the Biometric appointment, no email confirmation of the submission, no letter.

The waiting game continues.
What did they propose to do after your call today? Did they take down your details etc?

I am due to call tomorrow (as today is the 5th working day), but I’ve heard it’s pretty pointless calling :/
Oh thanks for the information.

No, I don’t think we get any confirmation after the biometrics. It’s just that I saw your application confirmation was after tour biometrics so I thought it was a different one.

Good luck and keep us updated on your case.
Got the approval email on the 15th Feb. Still waiting on the decision letter and BRP.

I have escalated the case to my local MP 10 am on the 15th, I think this has an influence on the decision email as I have got confirmation from MP at 1 pm and the decision email came through around 3 pm.

I noticed we can able to make changes in Document upload section even week after attending appointment. Is this normal?

Hello All,

Good morning. If anyone can clarify my query it would be helpful. I applied in Superpriority on Feb 13th in Croydon and I got the email today morning saying

"I’m pleased to confirm that your application for indefinite leave to remain under Tier 2 of the immigration arrangements has now been decided. You will receive your decision letter in due course. Thank you for using our super priority service."

But in that email they haven't mentioned anything about the whether it is granted ot not. Am panicking soes this mean it's not granted.Anyone have similar email?

Awaiting response.
Hi Vickyas

I recived same email today. But not yet recived the letter from postman. Do you recive your letter of decision ? If so , what’s is the outcome ? Approved ?

Thanks
