I applied FLR (AF) Super Priority Service on 25th April at 8:30.

After 24 hours over I called on 29th April to the help line in order to understand the situation then one of the advisers politely advised me to wait until 2nd May, if nobody contact with me then call again to the help line.

Nobody contacted with me between this time afterwards I called to the help line on 2nd May and one of the advisers written my details and told me she will pass to the Home Office, however, after 24 hours again I called today on 3rd May and one of the advisers written my details told me Home Office will contact with me within 5 working days.

I read reviews about SUPER PRIORITY SERVICE and I realise some people get decision within 24 hours and some people after 24 hours, so, Delay is very common for present Super Priority Service.

Guys please share your Experience I think it would be helpful for other person wait for the Decision !!!.

Thank You.

Hi Guys,

My wife had applied for her ILR (SET-M) on 25th April 2019 using the 24hrs Super Priority. we are still awaiting for HO to make the decision.
On 26th April 2019 we received the below email:

"Thank you for your recent application for Indefinite Leave to Remain, using the Super Priority Visa service.
We have attempted to process your application within the 24 hour service standard, unfortunately it appears it will not be processed within the 24 hour target. This is because your application raises exceptionally complex issues and we require further time to consider the case thoroughly and reach a decision."

All our document checking was fine and no further action was required. I have given HO more than sufficient supporting document in order to avoid any delays. My wife has never been refused for her Visa and my accommodation and finance is more that sufficient so i am puzzled on why this would be the case. After Chasing for an update on 2nd May 2019 i have now received the below email on 3rd May 2019:

"Thank you for contacting UKVI Contact Centre.
We aim to complete all applications within the 24-hour service standard. However, where we are not able to do this we will complete the application as quickly as possible."

Considering the fact that we had paid an extra £800 for the Super Priority this is not the service we were expecting. There is no details on what complex issues are causing the delay. Also no one from HO has contacted my wife and today is 6th May 2019. Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone know what steps i should do now as after escalation all i have received was a generic email.

Thrilled to find this forum! I am applying to extend my visa via route of Parent of a Tier 4 child student and I paid for super priority service for quick decision. I am now totally lost by the appointments session. For three days, I have been failing to find an available appointment slot except London premium lounge. Tried different post code like Birmingham or Manchester also failed to find any date available. Please could anyone help: Is super premium service appointment available at any other place other than London? What is the tip for getting the appointment slot? Is it better to call the premium number? By the way, I am in Leeds thank you in advance!!!

Hello:

Anyone else experienced this?
------------------------------------------------------
April 24: I submitted my FLR (M) application and paid for Super Priority service due to an urgent need for the prompt processing of my application..
- April 30: I attended my biometrics appointment at the Croydon office. After completing the fingerprinting and doc upload, I was informed that I was not "properly" checked in so my biometrics would have to be "manually pushed through the system".
- April 30: My solicitor gets an email from H/O case worker asking if I attended my appointment. I respond with the information above.
- May 1-2: I wait to hear about the outcome of my application, but hear nothing.
- May 3: I call 0300 123 2241 to inquire about my application but no one is able to tell me anything valuable. I call 0300 123 1199 several times, but hang up after being on hold for 45minutes. The only number I can actually get any information from is 0900 165 6600 which at £2.50/minutes, and after several holds, cost me over £30. I was told I would be called back. I was not. I email case worker asking if any light can be shed on the status of my application. Nothing
May 4-6: Longest weekend ever.
May 7: Solicitor emails case worker explaining the urgency of my situation. Case worker responds saying she can't do anything because she doesn't have my biometrics and that she contacted Sopra on May 2 and asked them to contact me to redo.

May 7: I contacted Sopra, this time the total calls lasted 20 minutes, so that is another £50 spent on calls, and they told me the following:
1. They can see my biometrics and that it was sent to home office on Friday May 3.
2. They cannot have me redo my biometrics without hearing from home office
3. They have not heard from home office (this was after I told them case worker indicated today that she had reached out last Thursday.
4. I should contact home office to contact them; meanwhile case worker says she contacted them on Thursday and I should expect to hear from them?

May 7: I email case worker again and she says she no longer has access to my files and that once Sopra re-does biometrics, I will get assigned to first available case worker. But Sopra says theyy cant do anything till they hear fro H/O

I feel like a ball being tossed around a playground, and the level of frustration and helplessness I feel cannot be adequately described with words. Meanwhile, i urgently need my BRP! I have contacted MP today. Any other suggestion???

Hi all, I applied super priority at Croydon on 30 April. Received email confirmation same say and letter over post on 1 May saying "You application has been approved". https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work showing I have no restrictions to work and can stay in the UK as long as I want.

But I have still not received my BRP. From past experience, when is it suppose to arrive? Can I travel with my old Tier 2 General BRP?

Thank you

I am very concerned as I have yet to hear from a case worker or anything but a generic email from the home office about aiming to complete my decision with in 24 hours but if they can't I might be entitled to a refund.
My dates below:
Application submitted: March 8th
Biometrics: Manchester March 9th
Generic Email From Home Office: March 11th
Contacted MP: April 8th
Received Email from MP Stating My decision should be made within 20 days: April 17th
Contacted Helpline: April 25th
Received Generic Email: April 25th
Contacted Helpline Again: May 3rd
Received Generic Email: May 8th
I have yet to be contacted by any kind of caseworker or email or letter specific to my case. My BRP expired on Saturday but the helpline informed me I am allowed to stay while my decision is being granted. I double checked this with my MP. What should I do now. I applied for 24 hour service but it has been almost two months. Has anyone else experienced a wait time similar to this without a specific explanation or request?

I just came back from my appointment. It was at the London Premium Lounge.

It was for ILR (SET O). Appointment was for 10.30 AM, went in at 10.15 AM, got an agent assigned at 10.45 AM, was out by 11.15 AM. All in all it went OK. Luckily no technical issues as faced by a few here. By the way, finding the place is a little tricky. Its right after 2 Minster Court on Mark Lane, London, with a small red board on the footpath.

Took my bio-metric details (photo, fingerprints, signature), verified the original docs, scanned all pages of the passports and uploaded them. They returned all the documents and retained only the digital copies.

On the next steps, they did not have a clear answer on when UKVI would contact me and let me know of the decision. I told them about the 'Super Priority' service and the 24 hour limit but all I got was 'we are just the people to verify and submit your documents, we can't comment on UKVI timelines'. They said I could be contacted either by email or mail (address on my application) and it could be either with a decision or requesting for more evidence (although the lady did say my documents were in order).

The key thing is they don't know about our application i.e. what type, what circumstances etc. All they have and use is the documents checklist, capture our bio-metrics, verify docs against the checklist and scan/upload any docs if not done already.

Now the waiting begins.
Can you please provide the list of documents you used with application for set(0)

Engrwaseem,

I was in touch with the case worker via email. When she informed me it has been approved I complained about the super priority and refund of £610 and she replied i am not eligible. She explained that I can’t request a refund as on the same day when I had my biometric she has emailed me and informed me that she couldn’t make a decision in 24h. (Anyway I am not bothered now as the visa is granted so I am not going to chase it any further)

Hi how did you get your caseworker email , I am waiting more then 30 days now . Could you please help me .

I applied for ILR 10 years via super priority service yesterday (09/05/2019).
Received an email today,

If anyone can tell me what is this mean?

Is it better to call the premium number? By the way, I am in Leeds thank you in advance!!!

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Hi guys, first time poster here.

I applied for ILR via SET(M) using the Super Priority Service on Friday 10th May, submitting my supporting docs and biometrics in Croydon. I then received an email a few hours later stating "...We have attempted to process your application within the 24 hour service standard, unfortunately it appears it will not be processed within this time. A letter has been issued to you via recorded delivery (PDF copy attached). Please follow the instructions provided."

The attached letter read as follows:

"The English Language qualification you have submitted with your application for ILR cannot be accepted as it was not taken at “An Approved Centre”. A list of approved centres can be found here:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... uage-tests

We are now allowing you 28 calendar days from receipt of this letter to obtain a pass of B1 or higher at an approved centre. You must send us your new certificate within that timescale. If you fail to submit a new valid English Language certificate showing a pass of B1 grade or above within the timescale above, your application will then be considered on the basis of the valid English Language pass we hold on file.
Furthermore, if you request the return of your Passport for the purposes of taking that test, your Passport must also be returned to us within 28 calendar days. Failure to do so will result in your application for ILR being refused."

Now, I'm confused with this for a couple of reasons:

a) the certificate submitted with this application is the same one used in both the previous two applications made on this same 5-year route (Cambridge Assessment English taken in 2012, level B2), therefore must be the same one as 'the valid English Language pass' that the case worker's letter stated they have on file;

b) even if it wasn't the same, the test was taken in 2012 and therefore before the rule change in 2015 re 'approved centres';

c) even if it wasn't the same AND the submitted certificate wasn't valid, why can't they just use the valid one they have on file?!

I've responded to the email and chased twice, but haven't yet heard anything back. Does anyone know if the email address UKVISETM@homeoffice.gov.uk is monitored? I've called the helpline, who have confirmed that, as the certificate was accepted for previous applications on the same route, it is valid and it sounds like the case worker has made a mistake.

I'm due to be travelling outside the UK in two weeks, so if anyone has any tips on how to nudge them to either confirm either way, it would be a huge help!!

Thanks
