UKVI new visa application while visa being processed

Hi Mods,
Just a quick query:I do understand that submitting a new application for a visa would cancel any current visa applications under process. However, would I be able to start filling a new application, without intending to submit, prior to a decision being made on a current visa application(post bio-metric)?

I have a Set(M)- 5 Year partner route ILR application on process and thought to start working on my naturalisation application and submit as soon as a decision is received. This will help me get prepared.I also do understand that I can start filling in with a dummy name and then amend once a decision is received, not to confuse UKVI?

Thanks , but just realised I’m unable to change the name once entered. Would this be an issue with the existing application ? although the emails registered are different.

Sorry, initiated the dummy in my own name, now unable to change to a dummy name. Would this cause any issues with the current SET (M) application awaiting decision?

Just worried it might result in withdrawal of current ILR application (or would this only happen with a submitted new application ?)

You can not have more than one immigration application under the UK Immigration Rules with the Home Office at the same time.

A naturalisation application is not an immigration application.

Naturalisation is under different laws and regulations compared to immigration applications and also have different requirements.

Just to answer the dummy name query: You can have as many dummy applications as you want in your original name or fake name (to run a dummy application), does not matter until you pay and submit it. Obviously, you will only submit the application with original details. As long the application is not submitted it is useless and gets deleted after sometime anyways.
