Visit Visa and skilled worker visa

Hi
I applied uk visit visa start of September. Last week I’m offered employment in UK with 3 months join. COS letter to be issued soon.
Can u plz guide should I withdraw my visit application, request for passport return and then apply for skilled visa or should I wait for things to take its course. Visit visa taking more than 8 weeks recently according to posts on forum.
