What to do with the old Tier 2 BRP after getting ILR

Hi guys, at application centre they did not take my Tier 2 BRP card. I now had ILR, what should I do with the Tier 2 card now. Do I have to send it back to home office somehow?

The approval letter should tell you about this. Normally, they will ask you to cut your brp in 4 pieces, put in a window less envelop and send it to an address.

Yes the approval letter has the info and the address to send it back to.

What will happen to the Tier 2 visa status after ILR application in successful

Does Tier visa stand invalid immediately ?

Thank you all. It did mention the addresd in one of the letters, I missed that part. Problems solved.
