UK General Visitor visa

I have applied for General Visitor visa on 14th Feb 2014.

It has been 15 working days and the status was still showing that it is with British commission for processing. So I have mailed to Chennai.VisaEnquiry@fco.gov.uk and they said that I need to attend an interview and I should wait till VFS gets back to me.
I did not receive any information from VFS regarding my interview date/time.

Did anyone face such situation? How long will it take for the interview to be scheduled

Forgot to mention that I have applied for visa from India
