Of course the German Embassy in Dublin haven't implemented this

Absolutely! And the fantastic beers! As for the food, Schweinhaxen (knuckle of pork), Obatza, Fresh Brezn, Schweinelendchen, Various Wurst (my faves=Rotwurst and Bratwurst), Blackforest Ham, Spanpferkel (suckling pig), Kaiserschmarn (delicious desert of pancake strips with nuts & sugar) ... yummm I'm getting hungry now
