Germany Visa Enquiry

Dear all,

Currently, I am working in UK on Tier 1 general visa. I want to know something about germany visa. the company will provide me visa if I will get job in germany. Do anone have any idea about permanent residancy in germany? How can someone get PR in germany?

The employer applies for the visa, so what you say doesn't make sense, u cannot find and job and someone else get u the visa.

Process is;

1. Get job offer.

2. Company applies for Work Permit

3. Ages later u get called to German Consulate

4. U r issued with a single entry Schengen visa.

5. On arrival in Germany u exchange this visa for another I forgot the name of at the Auslanderbehorde.

U will need really good German for this, it's a freaking nightmare process having gone through it twice with my partner I can vouch for that.

WRT to PR I think it's much like anywhere else, five years I think, eight years for citizenship which can be reduced to seven I think if u do an integration course. U'll also need to pass a stiff language test. Also u will lose ur existing nationality.

thanks...thats what i needed...I have read some points on website but didn't understand completely....They have 2 visas limited and unlimited...I think Auslanderbehorde is the limited visa....As i don't know about this and german language is really tough i guess....It's just i want to know if i can find any job in europe. Auslanderbehorde is the office u go to as a foreigner to register, it's not a visa.

German is actually a very close neighbour of English, but it has retained noun-inflection, a great difficulty for those of us brought up on non-inflected languages like English. So on the one hand it's easy vocab-wise, but the grammar is much tougher, though nowhere near as difficult as Slavic languages and Finnish and Hungarian...

AFAIK there is only the Work Permit, there is no equivalent of HSMP/Tier 1, the only option apart from inter-company transfer (Van Der Elst visa) is Work Permit directly sponsored by the employer.

18. If you reside in a country other than your country of origin, have you permission to return to that country? (YEs/NO) I am indian and i have indian passport and i am here in uk on tier 1 general visa Is it yes or no?

27. In case of transit, do you have an entry permit for your final country of destination? (No/YEs)

18-- yes, if you have uk valid visa and it allows you to come back uk after your short trip of germany.
