Is it true that if you get married after 28 years of age then you are not qualified for Citizenship

As others have said, no, that's not true.

Bear in mind though that merely marrying a British citizen does not entitle you to automatic British citizenship, whatever your age. However, being married to a British citizen makes the criteria for being eligible to apply for naturalisation easier in some respects.
