The breakdown of my application was as follows:
Age - 25 - 5pts
Education - BSc- 15pts
Work Experience - 4 Yrs- 35pts
Income Band - >£3,500 - 35 points (My taxable income for this period was actually >£2,350 but less than £3,500 which still gives me 25pts)
Total was 90pts or 80pts. Though I am yet to see the decision letter(its on its way from the US) I can imagine that the HSMP team disqualified my work experience and my Income. They accepted my age and my Education. This doesn't make any sense whatsoever because I am Certifed Information Systems Security Professional(CISSP), one is only certified by the Internnational Information Systems Security Certification Consortium - ISC2 if one can show at least 3 yrs work experience along with a bachelors degree. And I was certified in Dec, 2003. I also have a lot of IT certifications that date from when I started working, MCSE, CNE, CCNA etc
I included all the pieces of evidence that is requested on the under 28 HSMP form. I just can't understand this. It doesn't make any sense at all.
Does anyone know anything about how I can go about getting a review of this decision by the HSMP team. I have sent the HSMP customer relations team a mail asking for information on this.
One last thing, in June I asked if I could have my certificates- Bachelors and IT certifications- back because I had a job interview and I needed to show the originals. The HSMP team said that was not a problem that they would photocopy the documents amd keep the photocopies in my file. I don't know could this be the reason they scored me zero for work experience and subsequently disqualified my Income.
Pls I need help
