Getting a work permit in Ireland for teaching jobs?

Post by GSOtodd » Sun Sep 14, 2008 5:18 pm

WOuld Ireland need teachers? It seems as if the UK is going to change immigration rules retrospectively "again". I'm sick of it. I was offered a permanent job and it may very well be that because of new regulations, I won't qualify. Also, they are proposing to "cap" immigrants who want to stay on permanately.

Should I go ahead and immigrate again or wait and see what happens. WOuld the new laws effect me, especially since I only have two years left before I can apply for indefinate leave to remain.
