Going for appeal please help ?

Salaam everyone
This is on behalf of my friend he applied for a tier 1 (G) visa got refused ,maintenance fund issue , but he wants to buy some time by appealing against ,but he doesn’t have stand chance ,because he was under 800 pounds for some time ,but he have a desirable job in london and he spoke to his boss then they said if he give proper notice (4weeks)and leave and then apply after going home they will be able to taking him back provided that he get a visa from home, he is close with his immediate reporting boss and he is making some compromise with his seniors and doing him a favour,
My questions are:

1How much time he will get if he appealed against with no new information?
2.does that effect in any way his future applications

Please give a detailed explanation seniors,beacuse neither me nor him ever got any kind of refusel or needed to appeal in past 5 years

Can you tell us whether or not your friend have any other source where he can show maintenance fund for the period. If your friend has ISA,FD etc. he can use the same towards maintenance funds. Your friend can use combined sum of the amount from different sources e.g. amount in bank+ISA or ISA+FD etc. for maintenance funds.

Coming back to your questions:
1. Normally it is within 28 days you have to apply(if your visa already expired) or at the time of visa expiry.

2. No, it does not affect your future fresh application provided you submit all required evidences.

Thanx chetan bro ,he doesnt have anything,else so there no chance i rekon,but i think he can buy some time right ,usually how long it will take ?
