Golden Visa travel in EU zone

Hello,

I have a UK and Australian passport and I'm getting my golden visa in Greece in July.

I believe it gives me unlimited stay in Greece and doesn’t count towards me 90/180 Schengen days (U.K. passport).

What I’ve been told however, is, if I want to stay longer in the whole Schengen zone, I can effectively have unlimited days as long is I enter and exit from Greece on my golden visa. I have no idea if this is correct/allowed, so I just wanted to check :)
