got EC but for one year

hi all
i have ot EC but for one year, i asked one of the staff about it and was told that it's like this. i said that it has changed 2+3 but again said no
what should I do?

I would say call them to see if they would alter it?

I'm just getting ready to apply myself so i'm not really sure how tight they are on altering the EC once granted.

But i was wondering what you submitted for your EC application? Obviuosly i will include the HSMP approval letter, but what other types of documents should i include?

it's not worth of it, they won't alter it. I 've emailed HSMP UK, let's see what they will respond. even the guidlance says may be issued up to two years.it doesn't say must. so i think it's not guarnteed for two years. i've seen a few people with the same problem but they could not do anything.when i saw a year visa i asked straight away about that, but not an appropiate answer was given. that's fine, i will extend it ofr 4 years after the initial year.
you need to provide a copy of the paperwork submitted at doncaster along with originnal ones, rental agreemnet or a landlor letter. bank statemny hou much monet you have to take wqith you until you find job. if you have children and not taking them with you. the person's notarized letter that she/he is lookin afteryour child whie you are away. birth certificate original and noratized, profe of your property

how many months of bank statements did you include?

one month, but they say 3 months. when i was handing in docs i was asked for three months, but i said firmly that i do not want anybody to see how i am spending my money, which is true, i showed that i have 3800, 52 USD availbale, but in an application i said that i am taking 3000, this is what really i am going to do
do not worry eveything will be fine. trust me. i was really concerned but evrything went well. there is nothing to worry about. you will get visa i am sure.they treat you well, knowing that your HSMP winner. it is not like applying for student visa at all.
if you did not provide false docs to HSMP you will easily get visa

you can try to email or fax them with the HO website link saying the initial visa can be up to 2 years.

two years ago, my original EC was valid for only 6 months by mistake. i sent the British Embassy in my city a fax with my information and marked it urgent, they asked me to go there the very next business day, invalidated the EC and put the correct one.
