I got the approval of my naturalisation for BC

Post by magata » Mon Jan 28, 2008 12:44 pm

I would like to share with you guys my experience and how I got my BC

Application sent through the NCS on the 07/12/07
Received by the Home Office 10/12/07
Acknowledgement letter received 18/12/07
By coincidence I contacted them on the 21/01/08 to find out if there had been any progress and I was glad when was I told that they had made a decision on the same day. and that I should wait for correspondence from them.

Happily, I came back home from my long day of work and found that I had received 3 letters on Saturday 26/01/08 1 approval letter for my son and 1 for me but also an invitation for citizenship ceremony on the 13/01/08. However, as i need to travel soon I cancel and I arranged a private ceremony for this Thursday 31/01/08. I am planning to apply for British Passport on the same day 31/01/08.

In you experience, how long would you say it is going to take for the British passport to arrive?

I take this opportunity to say that I appreciate the valuable advice and tips received for my applications. I owe a lot to all of you

Kind regards

Congrats!!!

For the British Passport, it depends whether you'll be called to an interview.
