Government launches consultation on family migration

Post by Gab88 » Tue Aug 09, 2011 11:08 am

Hi Everyone,

I'm posting this topic related with the benefits of dependant families.

I & my families (wife & 3 children) came to the UK under HSMP visa in 2005 and obtained ILR in 2009 under HSMP JR.
All my families got ILR as my dependants.

We started receiving some benefits such as HB and JSA (my wife) from last year.

One of my friends said the current government's discussion announced on 13 Jul '11 as "Government launches consultation on family migration" covers review on the benefits payments to those who originally obtained ILR as dependants, in other words there is a chance that the benefits on JSA for my wife or HB based on the number of children could be affected.
As long as I see relevant news to the above announcement, I can't find such things.

Could anybody shed light on it?

Appreciate any information / thought related with this concern.

Thank you.
