Hey Everyone,
in early July 2012 I asked my beloved friend to marry me only to find that a few short weeks later the UK government past the now infamous £18,600 restriction on marriage visas. Our long 2 year struggle is almost over. Even with the hideous "Centre of Life" restrictions passed in Dec 2013, I was just granted a UK Family Permit. Next step - ferry to the UK from Ireland and then apply for a Residence Card. Relief. I couldn't have done it without all the incredible support and advice I got from this list. You're the best.

Sure... Here is the index to all of our documents. Just replaced the personal names...
Supporting documentation for our relationship:
- * Time line table of key milestones of our relationship
* e-mail print outs of some of the letters between us.
* Print out of our face book pages in august 2012 where we identify ourselves as ‘married’ – in heart if not yet legally.
* Copy of e-ticket with BA confirming WIFE visit to see ME in the US January 2013
* A print out of an ‘online petition’ - 270 friends and family members who are willing to attest that they know our marriage to be true and not one of convenience. Because ME is not a resident of the UK we have limited ways in which we have been able to prove our partnership (i.e joint bank accounts etc). Thus in march 2014 ME set up an online petition for people to confirm that ours is a love relationship. 270 people signed this and of these 119 shared comments about us. The list of signatures and comments is enclosed.
* Wedding photo
* Letter from a friend in response to hearing that we had managed to get the paperwork together and finally be married on 21st February 2014

*Amended Tax Credit Certificate - 2014
*Letter from the Irish revenue requesting further information for my tax code (tax code notification letter is still with the Irish residence permit application process and we hope it should be returned shortly
