Gross salary in CoS and amount on P60 is different

Post by Amy_jon » Mon Mar 24, 2014 4:05 pm

Hi,

I am on tier-2 general visa. Total salary on CoS is 37k including all allowances. But on P60 it shows 36,857.44. But P60 is not showing any allowances also. Would it be a problem when I am going to apply for ILR.

P60 is not part of ilr requirements so don't worry. Only your last payslip and last bank statement is all you need.

But for Tier 2 general applicants to apply for ILR we need to submit P60 for 5 years. Thats what I read in the list of Docs.

You must be reading the wrong documents then! Revisit set oforms and guidance or tier 2 ilr threads on this forum and you won't find P60!!!
Don't complicate things.....tier 2 to ilr us very simple and requires very few documents. You can submit as many documents as you like but only that specified by ukba will be locked at.

At the end of set o forms, tier 2 general see all specified documents. It's basically
-life in the uk test
-English language certificate or degree
-latest payslip
-latest bank statement showing the salary as is on the payslip
employer letter; format is also in set o form
-cohabitation if applying with dependants, birth certificates of children etc

Its good to have P60 as a backup to show that you were employed for 5 years, but this is not a strict requirement. As your P60 income is mismatching, better keep them separate and show if and only if CW asks for it. Its at CW discretion, they may ask for it. (Information Source: My friend got ILR last year and was asked for all P60s by CW)
