Do I have enough points?

Post by zombarak » Tue Nov 01, 2011 1:20 am

Hi All,

I apply last year, I applied before 19-July-2010. and I was 29 years old, so I get 20 points for age.
I received my visa and it is stamped in 2-August-2010.
the rules were changed after 19-July. my visa application was paid and applied before 19-July, but the visa was granted after that date.

which rules should I follow ? before or after 19-July?
given that when the visa granted I was 30 years old and not 29.
and that the rules changes.
so do I need to get 80 points and I will be given 10 points for age
OR
I will need to have 75 points and I will get 20 points for age?

The rules you fall under is based on the date of application, not the date of grant.
