I have moved to Dublin to exercise free movement rights

Post by Nemo30 » Sat Sep 20, 2014 12:17 am

Hi,
I have moved to Dublin to exercise free movement rights.I'm staying in a bed & breakfast until my Egyptian husband is able to apply for 3month eu permit.

We are wondering if anyone can give us advise about whether my husband is able to apply to stay with me at bnb or do I have to wait until i have a tenancy in my name ?
i'm not working at the moment

Thanks

The required documents to join EEA spouse is,,applicant passport, sponsor passport, marriage certificate (translated into English or Irish) and proof that the sponsor is in the host country. In your case a letter from the landlord should be ok.

Whether you are working or not is irrelevant for the first 90 days.
