hello visa refuse problem as a dependant

Post by serdar » Thu Oct 29, 2009 11:57 pm

hello I applied student tier 4 visa with mywife as a pbs dependant visa in uk actually she hold tourist visa which is going to expire now, than I received my visa but my wife application is refused and she doesnt have right to appeal but i wonder that do i have right to appeal about that decision which is going to seperate us before my graduation ceremony on 2 december. And i also know there is someone who had same situation like me ( main applicant is has student visa and her husband has tourist visa they appiled together and both of them got their visas in uk.) i feel disapointed because I dont deserve that staying away from my wife when i have once chance to finished a master degree in london and join to that graduation ceremony with my wife in london. if you know any solution pls let me know thanks

1. You can't switch status from a Visit Visa to a dependant Visa In the UK. She will have to go back to her country of origin to apply for the visa itself, re-enter the UK stating her intentions and obtain a fresh entry clearence stamp.

2. This doesn't belong in the Tier 2 section of these forums.
