Help - Adverse History

Post by Hopeful1 » Fri Sep 14, 2007 4:51 pm

Can any1 pls help me with a question.

My boyfriend was a student in the UK and worked out of term time and for more thn 20 hours, so when he applied to renew his student visa it was rejected. He appealed and failed. He then left the country voluntarily.

1)Will this be a problem if we get married in his country and re-apply for a marriage visa from there?

2)What should we write on the applicaion form? Should he explain why he worked? (He thought he could)

3) Should he write a statement as part of application??

4) Should we apply for a fiance or marriage? My family cant go to wedding there.

Any ideas would be welcome........

Hopeful....

He left voluntarily, which is the right thing to do, and will help him.

He can write a statement, and although a spousal visa may be easier, a fiance visa should also be okay assuming you fit the rest of the criteria.
