HELP......advice needed........

Post by zhao » Fri Jan 28, 2011 7:16 pm

Hi,

I applied COA 3 years ago and it's approved, no further actions...however, we are no longer together.........

I have granted PR 2 years ago, and became British Citizen 1 year ago, since then, I have met somebody else, now I have the intension to get married....

Would the approved COA affect my leagal status at all?

Many Thanks!

Don't think it should have an affect.

People have the right to not marry (for any reason as deemed valid by the two intending to marry) even after receiving UKBA's permission (CoA). After all, CoA is just a permission, not a bond!

IMHO ...
