Help-Age evidence

Post by duende » Fri Jun 18, 2004 2:06 pm

Hi,

I'm applying out of UK and I cannot send my passport through a currier. Which are the ways to prove my age?
Another problem is that the law in Bulgaria does not allow passports or identity cards copies to be notarized...

Duende,
In my view proof of age is mandatory for under 28 applications only although it is recommended to send one proof of age for over 28 also. Maybe you can send any other date-of-birth certificate from your school, college, municipal outfit whatever.

You can send non-notarised copies of your passport and explain in a covering letter regarding the specific law in your land. If the law really exists chances are they would know about it.

Thank you, Mini! :)

Yes, my date of birth is written on some other official documents as my academic reference, for example. :) And I also sent just a copy of my passport. Thank you once again!
I sent my documents yesterday, so now I'm waiting for a ref. number.
