Help and advice please!

Post by smiler100 » Sat Aug 16, 2008 5:38 pm

Hey everyone,
I'm really keen to permenantly move to Australia and need your advice as im stuck on how feasible this would be!

Is there any organisations/departments who i could contact to get advice on which visa to apply for/restrictions/types of jobs? Im after all the advice i can get!

I'm a recent university geography graduate, but am not trained in a trade. As ive only just left university, i havent been employed full time and so the only work experience i have is bar work/it/call centre/admin type jobs. Would it be worth trying to find a job in the Uk for a few years to get some experience in planning for example? or would i be able to emigrate and get a residents permit straight away?

Im very confused, so all help would be much appreciated!!
Thanks :)
