help and advise needed

I really need advise, i am a holder of family member of eu national residence card and it expires in 2016,i was married in dec 2008 and right now i am having a marital breakdown and divorce proceeding has been initiated.i want to know if upon completion of divorce do i have to apply for retention of right of residence or do i qualify for it automatically since my marriage is over 3 year and have lived in the uk for more than 1 year and i have my wife's work documents and i am also in full time employment. pls urgent response needed.

yes you qualify and can apply for retention of rights after issue of decree absolute, go through some of the posts on this forum to get a feel of what kind of documents are to be sent to the HO as part of the RoR application.
