Hello again guys,

OK, so we have decided to take the Marriage visitor visa route.

Plan is:
1. apply for marriage visitor visa to arrive in UK 22/JUN/16
2. Marry 9/JUL/16
3. Leave 6/DEC/16 to go back to Australia (this will be before the 6 month point)
4. Apply from Australia for the spouse visa on 7/DEC/16

The only reason we are going down this route is because we don't meet the financial requirement just yet.We will by December. We also cant reschedule our wedding because family members have already prematurely bought flight tickets as they're cheaper when bought early.

I really dont want to be deceptive. Can I tell them why we too this route or will this jeopardize my applications?

My strong ties to my home country:
- I will be taking 6 months unpaid leave (but still employed to commence work 2 days after my return - my manager has agreed to help me out here).
- My family, particularly my parents. I have lived with them all my life and I care for my dad who has had 3 open heart surgeries.
- My sister has just had a baby and I would love to see my niece.
- I am enrolled in a masters course and will defer this for January 2017

BUT, my intention is to settle in the UK once I return from my Marriage Visit Visa trip as a married woman.

What if i am asked what we intend to do when I go back to Australia? Should I tell them I intend to apply for a spouse visa?

I really don't want to jeopardize my application

Can you advise me? I am so sorry to be a pain. I have spoken to 2 immigration advice lawyers and said that this doesn't pose an issue so long as I meet the requirements, but all forums say otherwise.

Thank you so much guys xxx  :?:
