help for ILR for me husband and kids

Post by mummababba » Fri Sep 30, 2011 6:44 pm

Hi
so i have been reading the forum and need some help
my husband is british born and raised im australia
i have 2 children 1 from him and 1 from ex H
basically my in laws own ther own home so my spouse visa application has their address on it and everything since then we have moved out and my husband still has his mail sent to his parents because its a stable address and we wer going to move after our 6 month lease
basically we have our
water
electricity
gas
council tax
and tennancy in joint names
thats it
i have my bank statement coming to this address
our GP is still in his parents area and to that address
my eldest is home schooled must they attend a school?
i have been here for a year and my youngest is almost a year old
im worried that we wont have enough suporting documents and dont want the stress on the family to go through an appeal or to end up seperate countries trying to sort things out

my husband spoke to a immigration lawyer he said we only need the above in both our names to apply and will get approved upon that
but all my friends who are applying or have aplied tell me we need much more... i spoke to 2 lawyers who said so also
but seems like he wont listen
what do we need for a smooth sailing application from A-Z

thanks heaps

That is not an immigration question. But I think you need to tell the local authority in the area where you live and they will peruse the arrangements for your child's education, to ensure that they do indeed represent a proper education.

The application for ILR for you and your non-British child, the form should be completed truthfully, of course, and the evidence provided should prove that the two of you, you and your husband, have lived together for the 2-year period.
