* HELP * Gas Fitter, Potential Probs

Hi all,

I recently done an online test to see if i would qualify for a Skilled Visa as a Gas Fitter. After the test was complete ( Through migrateaustralia.com.au ) i got back this reply -

""I donâ€™t believe you would be successful at a skill assessment as the assessing authority for Gas Fitters does not recognise short term apprenticeships.""

What does this really mean?? Does this mean its unlikely get a Visa??

Please advise if you have been in same position.

Your qualificatation would'nt be recognised and under assumption of going to do apprentiship you woul'nt qualify...
