Help needed please

hello, im new to the forum, but i really need some help

basically, im 16 years old, ive been in the uk since i was 8 i thought i was in the country legally until a few months ago when i needed my passport to enrol for college, i was informed by my mom that i didn't have a passport as it was lost by the ukba a while ago during a refused application.

so anyways, since then ive been seeking advice from any source i can and quite a few of those sources said that it would be best that i should apply using the flr(o) form as a minor that has lived in the uk for at least 7 years.

my question is this: will it be better for me to apply by myself or with my family?

any response would be greatly appreciated

I think the advise that you were given was wrong.

I believe an FLR(FP) will be the most approrpriate.

If all your other family members are undocumented, then it will be appropriate for you all to apply together.

thanks, i just checked the FLR(FP) and it looks identical to the FLR(O) form, could you tell me the difference, if any. also, i was advised not to apply with my mother as she has a terrible ukba record in which she was accused of using deception, so she is very likely to be refused.

Family life as a partner (10 year route)
Family life as a parent (5 year & 10 year routes)
Private life in the UK (10 year route)
Complete application form FLR(FP)

U r applying under private life in the uk . Under 18 years old and spend 7 years continuously in Uk


FLRO form is for following categories
This form is for the following categories:
• Visitors (except Approved Destination Status & Permitted Paid Engagements visitors)
• UK ancestry
• Domestic worker in a private household
• Dependant of a person who has limited leave to enter or remain in the UK other than under
the points based system
• Parent of a Tier 4 (child) student
• Discretionary Leave (DL) where the applicant has previously been granted a period of DL but
has not previously been refused asylum or granted less than four years Exceptional Leave
• Relevant Civilian Employee
• Member of an Armed Forces who is not exempt from immigration control
• A dependant of a member of an armed force (not HM Forces who should complete FLR(AF))
who is exempt from immigration control under the Immigration Act 1971
• Locally engaged staff of a Diplomatic Mission
• Other purposes or reasons not covered by other application forms

As your mum's immigration history is poor, you can apply on your own and she may apply later on the basis of you.

Thanks so much for your reply. i think i will be using the 10 years private life route, one last question, what sort of things do you think i could use to show them that it would be unreasonable for them to expect me to leave the country

hello.

i was just looking through the form flr (fp) and near the end it says this:

Evidence of any factors which would make it difficult or impossible for you or your
dependents’ to integrate and establish a private life in the country you were born, or any
country whose nationality you hold, if you were required to leave the UK.

i just wanna know if anyone knows what they mean by 'evidence' as i don't understand.

It's asking you to submit reasons for not being able to live elsewhere than the UK.
